I'm rather partial to a freebie Shane, me being a Yorkshireman (which is really a Scotsman with all the generosity squeezed out of him) & I've just celebrated my 66th Birthday!! Please -
Cheers John , I will very likely try and get rid of it after I have put a handful of shots through it , as I’m left handed, and holding the gun in my left hand , will mean swopping to my right to cock , or trying to cock with my right hand at a funny angle ,, we will see , gonna try and trade it for a smk PP750 , as the cocking handle on that gun is on the right ,,, never thought about that when I ordered it , all being well the review should be on RUclips this Sunday evening 18th dec ,, as the pistol is being delivered 11 am Sunday morning thanks Shane
Honest review of the rifle looking forward to your next review of the zbroia hortitsia as I have just received my hortitsia mk,2and value your opinion keep well and stay safe 👍👍👍🔫🔫
Hi Shane, watched for a while now and like your no nonsense approach. I'm not a pcp fan as springers are usually faff free, no bottles, pumps and seal problems. I have quite a few rifles and pistols, ( too many my wife reckons 🤣) mostly mid range springers. As for co2, the last time I used them was for my homebrew 🤣🤣 Anyway, just subbed fella. ( I'm a lefty too btw ) 👍🏻
Hi Shane I just watched your other video on this gun and commented but just seen this one too 🙂 I copied and pasted it incase you miss the comment..... I have the gen 1 stormrider in .177 and it has the guage in the stock like yours so I think yours is probably gen 1 unregulated. I fitted a altaros reg to mine, packed the valve and fitted a lighter trigger spring. Also fitted a guage on end of the cyl so it has reg and pressure guage. Awsome little guns and great video cheers!!
Thanks Thomas , it’s a mystery , my friend who bought the gun new was told it was second gen , with regulator , and they use the same box as the gen 1 , but either way I’m not that fussed it shoots good for a gun at a low price , but one day soon will see how many shots I get from a fill through a chrony , cheers buddy , Shane
@@shaneweightman I was getting 36 verry consistent shots before the reg and around 80 after the reg with power set at 10.5fpe. before reg was fitted it was still verry consistent (5 fps variation) the fps dropped massively (like 20fps) all of a sudden after 36th shot. Mine had dodgy accuracy at first so I used a nappier pull through kit and it was filthy with black greasy stuff. It took over 20 patches to be spotless and now 1 holes with the same pellets before cleaning (air arms field) loving your videos!!
Thanks for your comment , so it seems to be unregulated then , but my Kral’s are unregulated, and when you find the sweet spot in the shooting curve of power , that is large on those guns as they give around 170 shots per fill , I think I get in the region of 145 accurate shots, as far as thr PR 900 goes , I own to many guns to spend any money on that one , and I’m on a very tight budget , thanks for the comment and advice Shane
the cold temps will effect the the it shane it effect all pcp's as far as i'm aware something to do with the way it effects the pressure of the air in the cylinders.
Check out this also, the PR900W is the same air rifle as the Diana Stormrider. If you want your rifle to be regulated also, then look for the PR900W GEN-2. The only difference is that the GEN-2 is regulated. ruclips.net/video/J6dWpNvZPLE/видео.html
Not that many buddy , around 50 to 60 depending if .177 or .22 but easy to inflate with a cheap syrup pump stirrup , you no what I mean l o l cheers shane
Does anyone know if the rear open sight slides forward on the cylinder. I was wondering if you could move it forward to stop it fouling the telescopic sight.
Being brought up with springers from the age of 12 till now 58 , it was a procedure of loading a pellet then take your time to hit the target , then repeat the procedure, etc , when I’ve been at the gun club and used a mag , I don’t put enough effort and time into aiming and breathing before taking the shot , and speed up the process and shoot worse, also now and again certain guns, have been known to damage skirts of pellets in the loading process , and if you get into conversation with fellow shooters , I’ve found it sometimes, we’re I double load the gun cos I’m not concentrating enough ,, single shot tray stuff works for me ,,,, thanks for the comment appreciated shane
I will take it to my Daughters and try , 31 yards , maybe will take it to the gun club in the nr future and try the targets at 66 yards , but give it a bit of slack , it’s just over 200 quid , What sort of gun do you expect for this sort of money ? Cheers Shane
always enjoy your uploads ,thanks

Really nice review, thanks.
nice shooting.

Gun looks good . Was wondering what sort of shot count per fill . I'm still thinking about getting one myself 👍👍

Where can buy a sound moderator for a PR900GEN-2??

It just unscrews.
The new gen 2 version has a regulator. The manometer is now at the end of the cylinder.
Which zbroia you reviewing as I’ve just got a hortitsia
Mk1 and Mk2 Hortitsia , and the mk2 Kozak buddy cheers shane
I’ve got mk2 hortitsia unbelievable accuracy at 30yards
You’re a breath of fresh air compared to some of the gun videos. Don’t like to mention names but first couple of letters of alphabet comes to mind.
my .177 pr900w is about 850 to 950 FPS for the first 10 shot
I have this great gun how anyone bothers with the single shot tray is beyond me get the 3d printed mag it’s way better.

Good. Now let's see it at 50+meters
