Investigative journalism, like justice, should be blind, but we see more and more these days stories being ignored because they are considered inopportune.
These guys broke the paradise papers, Panama papers, Pegasus project, expenses scandal, wind rush scandal, Afghanistan papers, NSA leaks with Snowden, war crimes in every war and conflict since the Crimean war and a tonne of other stuff too. If you’re not finding good reporting it’s because you’re not looking for it.
An awful lot of redacted documents in the Pandora Papers. An awful inability for the public to search these documents. And not many US American politicians mentioned. This is why Assange is locked up.
The Pandora Papers and its slow drip feed release are under the control of the Consortium of Investigative Journalists. The ICIJ operate out of Washington DC.
I think you mean the Guardian is dedicated to "ideological" investigative journalism based on what I've seen of your reporting. Whatever happened to "objective" investigative journalism? I would think Project Veritas is pretty close but yeah they too seem to let ideology steer them as well. So sad.
ANY "investigative" report from Guardian can be guaranteed to disregard objectivity. Their type of "investigative reporting" would to revisit Trump collusion with Russia. Maybe they could "turn" some of the interviewed in previous investigations to implicate orange man. A noble task from their point of view.
Shame this video is ruined by the dreadful music mixed far too loudly. I didn't make it past 20 seconds. Can we just listen to your journalists speak (which is after all the most important thing)? I don't need anything else.
Only the media not controlled by government or big corporates and having a sense of responsibility and service can delve into investigate journalism. Love you Guardian.

Why did you throw Julian Assange under the bus?! You have done nothing to help him, despite benefiting enormously from Wikileaks’ work.

Let me know when investigative journalism comes back, I'll look out for it...

May I suggest _The Grayzone_ as one source. Glenn Greenwald another.

@@Ji_hadJoe no surprises there. Nothing like challenging authority by getting the approval of the authorities.
@@Banana_Split_Cream_Buns As you've noted, there is a surprising lack of US officials named in these papers.

If only the guardian didn't attack corbyn....I don't think that was rooted in investigative journalism....
If only Corbynites turned out to vote instead of posturing online.
Gave up on Guardian when you started the Corbyn witch hunt.
Long live investigative journalism!
Thank you Guardian journalists, I'm a loyal, regular contributor and will remain so so long as you keep up the great work! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
