I’m having trouble like pushing it down the power button is it supposed to be at a certain charge
i was having this problem to so instead of pressing it hold the crown(the dial thing on the side) and it should reset

Thank you so much for making this video, it helped me out a lot. I had to change the battery in my series 1 watch. It’s a pain in the butt too get the screen off. I cut my thumb with the blade that came in the battery replacement kit 😢

don’t hold down the power button press and hold the spinal thing on the side to do it

my watch will not do anything when i press the power button as directed. i have tried all different types of hardness of press, it does nothing.

My watch belonged to someone else. I tried resetting but it's saying I need to contact old owner so they can remove from they network. How can I bypass that and reset it to make it mine?

Me neither, but just wait, it took me a few tries of holding the watch properly and pressing juts right.
Mines was doing the same thing. Follow his steps. Until you get to power off once you get to power off hit the wind tool above the lock bottom. Hope that helps

For others to watch in case you had the same issue, just instead of tapping the screen, once you are in the power down, hold the crown button

These won't work if the watch is icloud linked/locked, it'll still require the original owners password.

Thats not a hard reset. It will only erase everything from the watch but still get connected to the icloud account

What your leaving out is the next step. The apple watch will ask for your icloud information. If you bought a used apple watch and you didn't know the previous owners icloud sign in and password, you will not be able to proceed any further.

Mine is stuck in zoom and I try hard resetting it but when it powers back on it’s just stuck on the screen telling me it was designed by apple etc.
