  • Are you familiar with medication-assisted treatment for opioid addiction? In a recent podcast, TJ shared his experience with Suboxone, a common medication used in such treatment. He revealed that he was allergic to Suboxone because it triggered his cravings and lead him to smoke crack. However, he also acknowledges that it works for some people and helps them disconnect from the street life and the substances associated with it.

Bro the benzos were giving you stimulant cravings not the Suboxone 🤦. Benzos cause certain people (me included) to feind for stimulants even if you never enjoyed them previously. I notice this "stim craving" effect with xanax especially.

I'm from Finland so we really don't have crystal meth here and the coke here is mostly shit. You can get crystal meth or good pepsi if you have connects, but most people use just regular speed. A few years ago when I was using the most amount of benzos & speed, that combo makes you have no remorse, dignity or any self control + you have energy to do stuff, because if you take just tens of milligrams of xanax (here it's called xanor) or rivatril/clonazepam (klonopin in US) even if you have a high tolerance, you will eventually pass out, but not on speed. Pretty much every time I've gotten arrested I've been on benzos & speed + usually more stuff and all the problems I'm currently facing have come from those times😅

He probably got that part wrong but the other part he was 100% correct. They are so eagerly looking to put addicts on subs or methadone. It’s basically this.. There are individuals that want to help but mostly, addicts are seen as tacky people, causing problems for the world at large. Whether it be overdosing in the streets or stealing from people and stores to get their next fix. MAT is a way of dealing with these issues to reduce the multitude of challenges addicts place on society at large. Of course this is never the narrative of what the medical and political systems use or will ever allude to; it is most certainly a primary motive of treating people who suffer with addiction with a less messy drug to keep them out of the way and whilst also being a way those same systems can profit tremendously in terms of money.
Most people believe we have a health care system but really it’s just as much a keep you sick system. Even a get you sick system. How did the addict become an addict. They most definitely didn’t go into their surroundings and cultivate the necessities to make the drugs themselves.
You want to be clean and sober. The best way is first through understanding what the world and industry around you is. It’s hard to make that distinction when you’re born into the machine that feeds you not only the causes and cures but every iota of information that you ever swallowed

The gold standard is drastically changing your personality to be a responsible adult that takes accountability for their own actions. Addicts are the epitome of loser personality . I have changed so I have no sympathy for loser addicts/beggars. The only people below an addict in society are the decreased people. Even criminals in jail that aren’t addicts are more useful than addicts because they have some functional ability

Never had that issue with suboxone but with methadone 100%. I would never smoke crack or do cocaine unless I was extremely drunk. I started on methadone and within a week I find myself going to buy crack at 9:30 a.m. on a Sunday morning stone cold sober. I explained to the doctor what was happening and he said yes if you have an affinity for cocaine methadone will increase your Cravings dramatically. Of course that was never mentioned prior to getting on.

Be careful, most people i know who took or take it have been on it for 10+ years. Because withdrawal from suboxone is loooong and brutal. Getting down to 2mg a day is easy but once you start going lower you start feeling it so most people just end up taking it for years. Take off a couple weeks from your life and prepare your soul for epic battle. 1st 7 days are hell but once you get over that hill its nothing compared to what you just went through. The body and especially the brain are very efficient at repairing themselves even from a decade of abuse, its really quite impressive.

I only get the 2mg ones which is a crazy jump from kratom I know but I have heard of people being switched from kratom to 8mg strips and that’s wild af to me. If your getting high on Subs, you should have never been on Subs, doctors will give people taking to much Tylenol 3s Subs and they get high as fuck, I was in H and used Subs to get stay of of it and even the first time I took 16mg I didn’t feel “High” just felt okay. If you get high on Subs it’s because your tolerance is to low to need Subs.. crazy over prescribed.

No I dont believe it's for everybody. If ur a balls to the wall kinda addicted I would say no it's not for you. Atleast not for them as long term maybe short term would be okay. Like a week or 2.

If your not in a life threatening situation, meaning you havnt had several overdoses recently then I’d stay away from subs. But if your skirting by death on the regular I’d say subs will save your life.
