Karryn’s Prison is actually what got me into Adult games (ignoring flash games and old visual novels)… I think it’s my favorite system of leveling I’ve seen in a RPG! Always was a fan of the games where the more you use a type of skill the stronger that type of skill gets. The way the titles changed your character’s battle strategy as a whole was great and if you aim for a screw anything that moves Karryn style the transition between day 1 and being corrupted was very nicely paced since your desires can’t rise too high off the bat until you get more titles. Really interesting how they added a masochistic and sadistic side to it all depending on how you wanted to play since it changes dialogue as well! Had a huge amount of content and ways to get through the game, was a blast getting achievements! Even my girlfriend liked it a ton (she liked the fantasy of being the only girl around and loved the art) and it’s led to us getting more and more lewd games as the years have gone by. I think my biggest problem is that it’s hard to find stuff of the level of quality Karryn’s prison has but it can be fun searching, glad this channel was suggested to me! Thank you for covering a woefully unsung genre of games. I mean at the end of the day, we all have sex.. why not celebrate it and lay off the stigmatizing? I always thought it was weird that we are all okay as a society with murdering in games but people flip their shit if a nipple or dick shows up. :P
I think the stigma is about the noncon content than the fact it's a porn game. It's always been controversial. The west is a lot more touchy about it than, let's say, Japan.
Thank you for the fantastic content that you post. I love it when I see a new video from you pop up in my feed. I appreciate the thoughtful commentary that you offer, in the reviews, videos on specific topics, and top lists. I'm looking forward to your best of the year.
Karryns prison is one of the best games I ever played. It has lots of contents and different ways to play. Also the developer is still pulling updates and they want to make a dlc with full reconversion of the cg to a smaller and bigger version
I really want more content: some enemies can't have certain sexual moves done on them (slimes, beastmen and yetis are the ones that come to mind) and some areas just have no use after subjugation (classroom, showers and workshop really seem like they should have associated jobs/activities for them). I know Remtairy and Sachinama have been chomping at the bit to get to work, on a new game but... I just don't feel like KP has reached its max potential.
@@thelostone2008 For real, I hate that you get one penetration scene with yetis and it's only the intelligent one. You also can't fuck Tonkin or Yazu. But there's still plenty of options for DLC. I'm hoping for access to the infirmary, where there will be a nursing job.
@@thelostone2008 It definitely hasn't. I was disappointed by how limited some parts of the game were. Demons Roots is such a masterpiece of a game of the year. Demons Roots probably has the best gameplay you could have in an RPG Maker game. Demons Roots never gives and exceeds expectations either in the story or the gameplay. You'll never expect what's coming. An RPG Maker game being this good is extremely impressive. Like, what we get is this random indie game that can compete with any big games in writing, story and design?
@@SexPositiveGaming5:55 I think it’s because corruption is not the main goal rather the main goal is more of freedom and liberty and world peace pretty much. Although there is plenty of corruption going in the bad endings or within the story itself with the character development.
Shimobashira Workshop has a few really good games in the genre. Ambrosia and Magical Girl Celesphonia are fun and the studio has their own style. However, the games do have a lot of super similar things going on.
Celesphonia was easily my favorite game of this type, only recently topped by Karryn's Prison. Looking forward to the English translation for Shimobashira's next one.
Karryn’s prison got me am back into adult games. Put over 50 hours into it since getting it a few months ago. My wife was disappointed that when I did the pure run to get the empress ending that there was no scene with the emperor
@@SexPositiveGamingit didn’t matter to me either way. I picked the game up on a whim and not even for the sexual content, that was just a bonus. My wife was the one that was a little sad at not seeing karryn lose her v-card to the emperor.
I'd add Single Again to this list. On the surface, it looks like a typical harem incest game with a father and daughters, but what sets it apart from the many, MANY similar stories is the fact the story is flipped. It is the girls that are corrupting the MC, Frank. Frank, is a genuinely good man and loving father to his daughter Abby and two (recently) ex-step-daughters Becca (that loves him) and Lilith (that hates him). He has never thought of the girls in a sexual way for as long as he has known them. He is resisting temptation, but, Becca is the opening him up to the idea of turning their relationship from father/daughter into being a new family of man/wives now that he is away from her mother (whom she hates).
That game is a real slow-burner and the MC is frustratingly vanilla in the beginning. Having said that, it’s one of the better games I’ve encountered out there and can’t wait for the updates to drop. A Petal Among Thorns would be like the Coles Notes version of it. Both excellent games in my opinion.
@@zlatiborm That is the point though, he is being corrupted from father to lover. Usually, it is the female character that starts off vanilla and gets more and more depraved as the story progresses because of what the male character does to her. Even though he isn't related to the girls he considered all of them his daughters and nothing more for years. If he was already depraved, he would be lusting after the girls until he got the green light like every other game in this genre. Also, you may think it is a slow burner but it has been less than a month in game time. The game starts on 30/3 and the latest update takes place on 21/4. Also, I did like Petal Among Thorns, and it's sequel A Moment of Bliss, but the change from father to lover was too fast. The change in Single Again feels more realistic.
Agreed with much of the list! Love Third Crisis and I'm replaying Karryn's Prison right now. I passed over Demons Roots but I think I'll have to give it a try based on your recommendations.
Love your videos, i do not understand why youtube is trying to take down stuff like this, sexual freedom, freedom from shame, hate and fear, safe healthy ways to work with natural things like sexuality, these things are important for mental and physical health, they reduce crime, everyone can enjoy it. Like for real channels like yours are important to help make these games more accepted. You help a lot with corrupting the system. Lol. Good video
It's pretty much entirely text based, but I've recently gotten heavily into a game called "Corrupted Saviors". You play as a demon lord fighting off squads of Chosen (basically magical girls or guys or futanari depending on the settings you use) with the goal being to traumatize them into corruption and eventually joining your side. It does have a bit of a heavy learning curve, but it really hits the sweet spot of puzzle/tactics and erotic corruption. You can also add your own custom chosen to it and it even has some gender bending stuff for those who enjoy it. It's not finished yet, but there is a decent amount of content and updates at the end of each month.
I saw "corruption" and was disappointed there are no kickbacks, bribes, protection rackets, political panhandling or backstreet muggings. Fleeting Iris was pretty good. The corruption game I'm most looking forward to further chapters of, is "Innocence or Money". "Inside Jennifer" is another I recently played and liked as well. I'm looking forward to trying out inSight of you after seeing this video.
My favourites in this category so far are Karryn's Prisson because of the gamemechanics of management and especially the interesting and varied ways of combat, which is not purely relying on violent attacks. They claim each other are for each other, but not do anything about it. I can see how having competition could accelerate the process, but at the same time... the protagonist is kind of a jerk. Have way less issues NTRing him than other people. Like in StarKnight where you NTR your friends that clearly care for you.
I tried looking into Amelia Blanchette Falls Over and Over Again because based on how you described it, it sounds like it could potentially have multiple endings with at least one of them making the player character stop the corruption sooner (thus saving his girlfriend). However, reviews seem to be mixed, and I'm getting the impression there might only be 2 endings (with one ending abruptly, and the other requiring a sacrifice and being the "true end"). I couldn't even find a confirmation on how many endings there are. So I guess my question is, how many endings are there and does trying to end the cycle early lean more towards a "heroic" mc? (I know the last question is odd, but your description sounded fun for at least one play through)
Definitely give Rise of Corruption a chance if you haven’t yet it’s still in early development, but the concepts and ideas of the game are really good if you like corruption content. The premise is about a group of heroes that have defeated the Dark Lord. Unfortunately, the Dark Lord had stored part of his power so someone could finish what he started. The monarch send you to watch the hero's squad locate this hidden power and support them. Obviously you inherit the demons lord power and decide to do what you want with it and corruption occurs. The game definitely has potential I feel the corruptions and transformations on display so far are well paced and very rewarding for the player as well the concepts the ultimate power fantasy. It still requires some work but the developers been very actively working on it and taking feedback from his audience. As he plans to broaden the scope from going from just corrupting a party of heroines to eventually being able to supposedly corrupt gods and demons alike eventually. Till the whole land bows before you. Combat and gameplay aren’t a focus for the developer at this time so the combat is a bit basic but the corruptions the most important part to a game like this I feel they are very well done thus far.
This genre is very deep, tons of games that can be recommended. However I'm very happy to see Demons Roots get some appreciation both it and its predecessor King Exit were highly underrated games. Sadly you can't currently buy King Exit on steam. It's not banned. You can still play it if you own it but it's no longer sold as previous publisher Paradise Project lost the rights to most of their games. Supposedly a proper English translation is in the works to replace the shoddy mtl work Paradise Project did (it was a real disservice to Quick Nail Aristocrat's work) in hopes that it can be sold again on steam in the future. I know some folks eagerly awaiting that release. Anyhow tangent aside corruption is such a super popular theme that can be found in so many games, just about every female protag jrpg has a corruption route if not the main feature of the game. Oneone1, Fenoxo, Anduo (Third Crisis one of the most famous corruption rpgs, but their new wip game Erokin looks headed in that direction as well)
The Spellbook! Ultimate corruption is basically one of the two main gameplay routes in the game. I don't know if you have reviewed it, or if it finished already, but it's kinda one of the hottest games ever (plot is ridiculous though)
@@SexPositiveGaming I used to be a lot more innocent when I was younger. I've seen and experienced a lotta shit that would give a weaker man nightmares. I've sunken pretty deeply into the swamp of depravity in an effort to retain what little is left of my sanity. You ever read Saya no Uta? There's an ending where a certain character is the only survivor, and decides to keep a revolver loaded with a single bullet hidden behind the medicine cabinet in their bathroom, for when their PTSD becomes unbearable. I didn't fully understand that ending back then, but I do now.
I played alansya chronicles fleeting iris years ago, I remained in the virgin path and get to the end of the games content very quickly, the writing is very otaku like
@@SexPositiveGaming Yep, I enjoy it rather well. though in my play through masamune incel cuck puritan personality pisses me of so hard. at least the alternate ending are way better than the true ending(Hannah ending FTW)
I thought Damon was an okay corruption game. At the one hand, I really like the buildup of the corruption and where it ends up. At the other hand, the early events dont really seem to "stick". The buildup is for the player, not for the characters. That hurts the game for me since I like it when you can see the character slowly change and accept more things, rather than a switch being flicked.
I haven't got around to playing that game but I did play its... predecessor? I think Ark of Artemis was a sidestory set before Last Embryo but either way they are connected. Last Embryo was a lot better than I anticipated. Not going to give it any game of the year awards but I'd say it was a pleasant surprise and don't regret playing through it. Kujirabo is supposedly making a trilogy with Last Embryo being the opening chapter, I hope they stick with it.
@@Naraku-no-Hana-WE Ark of Artemis is more focused on adult content than anything, but the true ending needs you to not engage in it and it is a lot of fun. Zarakiel is the new, haven't played it yet but it seems like another spinn-off :(
kinda off topic but you seem to he very knowledgeable in SEGGS games so i'm looking for a recommendation, I've found a lot of SEGGGS games but they play more like 2005 browser games instead of proper games, basically i want to know if the game i'm looking for actually exists, basically like an anime action RPG game but has SEGGS like Genshin with SEGGS or even just ecchi or like Skyrim with loverslab anime mods.
It's not complete yet, but I think you're missing a real gem in corruption games, Seeds of Chaos. It's another one where both the husband and the wife can be corrupted, but unlike a lot that engage in physical transformations, the corruption here is (mostly) behavioral.
Any and all lewdness aside, some of those games look awesome both from a mechanics, graphics and story perspective. I might have make a priority of getting a decent gaming PC.
Corruption is mostly a tag that is a tag to hide other tags so the Devs can get funding via Patreon or such. The hidden tags are M*** C****** and **** as well as a few others. What is up with all the RPGmaker games? The engine I avoid at almost all cost.
@@SexPositiveGaming it has a lot of Ren'Py games and HTML games and... the list goes on. The tag as I said it is used for Devs to get around somethings.
@darksorra Corruption is mostly a tag used for corruption games, because corruptions games are a thing. Tags don't do much in terms of "getting around things", since censors will frequently review actual game assets. There are some great RPGmaker games, though I personally prefer Ren'Py be used whenever possible. Karryn's Prison is easily one of the best eroge games of the past few years, though.
@@vispunk I am talking from a Dev stand point. Notice the level of corruption games have gone up while the number of M*** C***** games have gone down? This is due to Devs getting around the terms for some funding platforms. Before a lot of games go to Steam they first go through a funding time on those platforms.
@@darksorra It just isn't. Corruption is its own distinct flavor and has been around for a long while. The fact that fewer M*** C*** games get made does not mean that corruption games are simply disguised M*** C*** games, nor that the dev in question would really rather have made a M*** C*** game instead of the corruption game they actually made. There may be a handful of such cases out there, but many of the games on this list were intended to be corruption from the beginning, with plot elements and game mechanics revolving around that. The crowdfunding platforms often review more than just the tags or summaries provided by devs, so again that statement was at best a gross overgeneralization. Claiming this established genre exists primarily to mask another genre just shows you haven't actually played many of these games.
I don't like "corruption" activities irl but in fiction is a completely different mannor! I am not a fan of NTR however, so any corruption game that involves spliting apart existing relationships is a big no for me. My 4 favorite corruption games (in no particular order) are Meltys Quest, Karryn's Prison, Ambrosia and Magical Girl Celesphonia
weirdly enough i like and hate corruption games, it can be great working slowly to a goal and your character becoming more "erotic" what i hate is how most times the characters needs to become basically some one else, small example, most school corruption games the main character will end up a dumb slut and its never possible to finish the game being a "smart slut" every time you HAVE to let your grades fall and i think that is boring having to manage 2 or 3 stats is what is fun about corruption in my opinion like " can you become a slut and still maintain your stuff" but yeah
female protagonist RPG corruption is my favorite genre... but with two particularities the protagonist should not be too easy to corrupt and above all no violence
@@SexPositiveGaming Tina: Swordswoman of the Scarlet Prison Shera and the Three Treasures The Scarlet Demonslayer the last three that i had played and loved
Until discovering this channel, I'd never heard of "corruption" as being a whole genre before. Does it just mean "Someone who is not slutty is coerced into becoming slutty?" Or is it more specific than that?
It's a bit broader than that, as it can also include fetishes like moral degeneration, which is basically a character becoming evil. Star Knightess Aura has that too. Oh, and it doesn't have to be coerced, it can be organic like in Good Girl Gone Bad, mind-control, and various other ways.
I dunno, maybe you should separate games that are still in Japan and haven't been localized yet from this list. Things like Nightmare Night haven't gotten a release besides DLSite and you don't know who will pick it up. Most likely Kagura but if they do, they'll rerelease it.
I'm not gonna lie, i love me some corruption. But the gameplay in these just isn't my style. Luckily there's a lot of good stories out there to read. If your willing to put in the work to find them.
"I played Star Aura and it seemed to me to be the most unnecessarily complex game I have ever seen, (maybe because I played it with a guide) about 4 hours to get to a tremendously boring scene. Not recommended, very slow and tedious.
I hate gameplay in my adult games. It’s never good. Just give me VNs and choices. Especially if it’s a “no game over” type, like from what I remember, Now And Then. Or Sorcerer.
I would say no but then I remember Varia and Atlina if joins the harem too quickly and tanurak's whole deal. Not really a corruption game but does have an element of it
Heh speaking of Sierra Lee games Once Ever After is like a reverse corruption game. You start as a bimbo, meet an alternate version of yourself and come to realize all the possibilities you can become. I think Sierra Lee particularly likes twisting expectations on the corruption genre.
I haven’t played the last few updates of Third Crisis yet, but when it was released in early access it had some pretty corruption-heavy gameplay.

(I know the last question is odd, but your description sounded fun for at least one play through)
My experience with this game and NTR focused titles is that the "happy" endings tend to be bittersweet or lackluster. Sorry about that!
@@SexPositiveGaming No it's all good! Thanks for the reply!
I do like some of the art styles, I may look at them again the next time I get paid
I talk about consumption in the cyberpunk video!
Thanks for the suggestion!
i love star knightess aura but so many things keep changing
We'll just have to see where we end up when the game is complete.
Star Knightess Aura is highly recommended
Glad you like it!
Oneone1, Fenoxo, Anduo (Third Crisis one of the most famous corruption rpgs, but their new wip game Erokin looks headed in that direction as well)
Thanks for the recommendations!
The Spellbook!
Ultimate corruption is basically one of the two main gameplay routes in the game.
I don't know if you have reviewed it, or if it finished already, but it's kinda one of the hottest games ever (plot is ridiculous though)
Thanks for the suggestion! It was in my first corruption video from 2021.
Corruption by Mr. C and President Yukino not included makes me sad boy. Both are excellent.
Thanks for the suggestions! Corruption was on the 2021 Corruption list.
Corruption is literally my life's story
Sorry?
@@SexPositiveGaming I used to be a lot more innocent when I was younger. I've seen and experienced a lotta shit that would give a weaker man nightmares. I've sunken pretty deeply into the swamp of depravity in an effort to retain what little is left of my sanity. You ever read Saya no Uta? There's an ending where a certain character is the only survivor, and decides to keep a revolver loaded with a single bullet hidden behind the medicine cabinet in their bathroom, for when their PTSD becomes unbearable. I didn't fully understand that ending back then, but I do now.
I hope that you are in a better position now

I mean I've covered Rance, so there is a chance.

Recommendation: Seeds of Chaos.
Thanks for the recommendation!
It was surprisingly deep for a free game from a first time developer.
I saw the Nipplenay during your video.
I hope not.
Ark of Artemis is really good too! I think the new game by the creators is also corruption (maybe), but the whole series is good.
Thanks for sharing!
They exist, but there are not many.
It's not complete yet, but I think you're missing a real gem in corruption games, Seeds of Chaos. It's another one where both the husband and the wife can be corrupted, but unlike a lot that engage in physical transformations, the corruption here is (mostly) behavioral.
Thanks for the recommendation! It was in my previous corruption video.
@@SexPositiveGaming Guess that's what I get for being a newbie to the channel. :D

This Flavor seems to have a lot of RPGmaker games.
Thanks for sharing!
Are there any other indie RPG-maker video games where brainwashing and mind control is the central theme?
D&D?
weirdly enough i like and hate corruption games, it can be great working slowly to a goal and your character becoming more "erotic" what i hate is how most times the characters needs to become basically some one else, small example, most school corruption games the main character will end up a dumb slut and its never possible to finish the game being a "smart slut" every time you HAVE to let your grades fall and i think that is boring having to manage 2 or 3 stats is what is fun about corruption in my opinion like " can you become a slut and still maintain your stuff" but yeah
Which is one of the big reasons that I try to point out novel or innovative ideas and mechanics.
👌 good stuff
Thanks!
female protagonist RPG corruption is my favorite genre... but with two particularities the protagonist should not be too easy to corrupt and above all no violence
Glad you find some flavors that you like!
@@SexPositiveGaming Tina: Swordswoman of the Scarlet Prison

Until discovering this channel, I'd never heard of "corruption" as being a whole genre before. Does it just mean "Someone who is not slutty is coerced into becoming slutty?" Or is it more specific than that?
I talk about this a little in my corruption video from 2021.
Thanks for the feedback! Let me know what you think of my top dlsite video.

You know, most harem games have a lot of corruption, you just list NTR games.
I have a few videos on the subject if you'd like to learn more about the difference.

Does The Last Sovereign count as a corruption game if the MC is a guy?
Absolutely!

Excellent!
So, not all games are hentai games, right?
I guess it depends on how you define it.
