The pavilion & pictures on the painted mural is a perfect symbol of what not only Epcot but what Disney used to be. Educational, caring & joyful. Epcot used to be so unique & brought many learning factors of science, culture & history all while having the time of your life. That is now gone. I loved this pavilion & although I hold onto hope that Disney will turn it around I know my kids will never get to experience what I did as a child.
It looks like a dead mall from the 90's. The area where the Foresters sign is looks like an empty anchor store, Cranium Command looks like the mall's movie theater, the two closed restaurants look like walled off food court stands and the Scenery Funhouse looks like the mall's kids play area.
sacha jones It does help. Thank you very much. If you may recall, there was once an hour-long video of the WOL pavilion's entire area music loop on RUclips. It had ALL the tracks: Wild Kids, Celestial Soda Pop, The Oh of Pleasure, etc. but it was taken down...
Thank you for posting this I have looked up lots of stuff on this place but I have seen some stuff that no one else has said anything about on this video! Thank you!!
I was in Disney world for the first time ever in 2006 I remember that place I was 6 years old in 2006 it looks so familiar that place. I did not go on any of the rides my family can’t remember that either but just seeing it again I remember I was in there. Did they have a merry go round in there? If not I’m probably thinking somewhere else I can’t remember now but I know I was in there the year before it closed.
Apparently when I was a kid, I was a very picky eater and one of the few things I ate at Disney World were the little yogurts they sold at Wonders of Life
Nowadays the pavilion is used as the Epcot festival center for the Food & Wine Festival and so forth. None of the attractions are open but some remnants still remain. According to themeparkinsite.com, the Cranium Command stage, including Buzzy, is still 100% intact, along with the queue for Body Wars
They could retheme Body Wars to Iron Man and base it on the "Iron Man, on the Inside" episode of the '90s Iron Man cartoon. Hawkeye would be the patient again and there'd be multiple destinations you could select or have selected for you. Also you could design the body probe before the ride started. The ride film would be animated by TMS, have the cast of the cartoon reprise their roles, and have Elisabeth Shue voice an animated version of Cynthia Lair (since she's too good.)
@@Biblo_k Wonders of Life interior is now unknown. They were retheming it but that may not of happened now. I am SO curious to know if they demolished the inside

The esthetic of this place and the music just scream vaporwave

R.I.P.
Wonders of Life
1989-2007.
I first visited this pavillion in 1995 after I graduated from high school and it was fun. Cranium command was my favorite part about wonders of life.
Love the music playing in the beginning of the video. One of my favorite WOL Pavilion tracks
Same for me too! It's Wild Kids by David Benoit if that helps. :)
sacha jones It does help. Thank you very much.

JEHMSZ Yeah, I remember. Didn't know it'd been taken down though...
sacha jones Tried searching for it and had no results
JEHMSZ That really sucks.
This was recorded Dec 2005.
2 years before closure..
One of those “open seasonally” years when it was legit only open during the Christmas to new years timeframe
Thanks for uploading this. Few people make videos like this while an attraction is open, so there's nothing to look back on once it closes.
Thank you for posting this I have looked up lots of stuff on this place but I have seen some stuff that no one else has said anything about on this video! Thank you!!
I miss the DNA tower :(
How did they even tear down a 70 meter sign without destroying anything around it
Guessing because of the posters at 6:39 , you recorded this video around the final days of wonders of life's life, you sir are a god!
Why couldn't they just add in a new attraction somewhere instead of abandoning it like some kind of six flags park? nobody respects that decision
im so sad they got rid of this :( this was my favorite area when I was a child!

Wonders of life
I hope this pavilions successor the play pavilion will become a reality

This place reminds me of Minto Mall!
Yes, It's quite similar.
Great video but what's with the 2000s grand Turismo car selection music ?
the Music was played inside the dome at the time. That's why.
Where is everyone?
It was closed due to their sponsor leaving Disney so the pavilion shut down so nobody can go into it now
@@real_briley Yup, They even put barriers around it now.
Do they just give tours of the area now and not actually open any of the attractions? Really strange :/

Dragonrider1227 they should remake cranium command but instead of the boy it is riley from inside out and they should remake body wars too

@@MikeJehmszClassic Nah man Buzzy (the animatronic) was stolen last month and they removed the ride vehicles in body wars

This place is literally empty
Not entirely, They mostly removed some buildings and signs and repainted everything. To this day there are construction barriers around the dome.
