I vote for Dr. Church as being the coolest scientist around.

The risk of AD increases with age. Maybe the eradication of aging will prevent all the AD cases. But if aging will not be eradicated, then most of us will get AD, if we will live long enough. Some of us can die before that point from cancer, CVD or accidents. Aging reduces only the dendritic spines and the synapses, but does not cause neuronal loss, brain atrophy. AD causes atrophy. If that atrophy affects the structures of neocortex, brain lobes, hippocampus, amygdala, hypothalamus and of the remaining brain parts, then could the immune clearance of beta amyloid plaques or some neuroregeneration restore those structures? How much can the lost memories, synapses, structures, functions, and capacities be restored? Could these questions hide a big obstacle, a big tragedy?

Does anyone know how far away the dog gene therapy is from being available?

I haven't been keeping too close of an eye, but every time Dr. Church discusses it he makes it seem like he is getting it done at a very rapid pace

@DJ Age Reversal Research Hmm, I know about trials but there doesn't seem to be progress updates like whether it's fully enrolled or the results so far ... I'm not on specific gerosupps, just collagen powder (I'm hypermobile and it protects my connective tissue) and a B vitamin +Mg powder for energy; it does have niacin
