@@rapharigoti Oh yes, I use your early POD making method with wood support. That is so nice solution too! Nowadays I use just a straight wood template with formed the nose part. First I made 4 pieces half PET parts I formed a nosecone from 2 half pieces and a rear part with some scissors cutting to blend the rear straight parts to the boom. I fix all parts just packing tape. I pierce the rear PET POD part and the wing fixing screws keep the rear part fixed. The first pod part is momentarily fixed with an adhesive tape after the take-off electronics are turned on.
Isso Douglas! Mas na real é uma forma de fazer a garrafa ficar mais estreita e abraçar melhor e aumentar a área que se aproveita com uma garrafa. Eu vou tentar essa técnica tbm pra fazer um pod inteiro. Vou tentar fazer o pod com uma garrafa! Normalmente faço com quatro!
@@rapharigoti Sim. Já vi seu vídeo do pod. Eu usei essa técnica para cabine do Tucano e usando folha de acetato ou pet. Funcionou bem com a ajuda de uma segunda pessoa para segurar um soprador térmico. Qualquer hora tente fazer um molde de isopor so invés de madeira revestido com massa corrida ou fita isolante. Não derreteu. Depois para retirar é só ir desfazendo o isopor com uma chave de fenda ou algum ferro. No meu caso bastou cortar o pet,já que a cabine é só a parte de cima.

Thanks Peter! The idea is to mold with out extra wood support for streching the bottle, and to use less bottles no make the POD.

Oi Douglas! Já fiz moldes desta forma. Mas acho uma pena acabar destruindo um molde que faço com muito capricho! Rsrsrs.
