I sold my LV collection in 2014 to fund my business. Haven’t considered LV since. However, the vintage LV Noé and 25 speedy are gems.

I love the speedy! I have the 25 and 35 which are perfect for me. The 25 is from 2015 and the 35 is from 1987; the latter is definitely higher quality. It needs new leather but can’t believe how good it looks otherwise. It has less corner wear than my 2015!! I also love the speedy sag!
Yeah older seems to be better quality so I think I’ll stick to vintage Louis Vuitton for now! Yes the sag makes all the difference xx
Omg same! I have the 35 from 1980s and the leather on that bag is phenomenal. I recently got the 25 which is also vintage and I would say I’m in love with both
All your cons are my pros about the speedy. 😂 that’s how different we are. Like zipper is running only on the top and not down the edge, also the bandolier would be annoying due to the shape of it, and I loveeee how when you need something from it you hold it by the one handle from the crook or wrist of your arm… I find it so comfortable and chic. Also living in the states you are constantly driving around or be in the car and the straps would be in the way a lot of the times, so the classic with just the handle is great. Now that I moved to Finland where I bike or walk everywhere I thought I would need a crossbody bag it turned out that the straps are also annoying the classic handle is just easier for me to get to ,stuffs quickly lol to each their own.

That speedy is gorgeous! I have the Speedy 30b and wish I had the regular one. I feel like its too wide to use as a cross body, it sits away from the body too much. I guess it’s all preference.

I have travelled with my 2014 speedy 30B several times and wore it daily for two years, the patina is amazing and I will never part with mine. I think if you bought a new one and create memories with the wear and tear you wouldn’t be able to part with it.
I think the Speedy B 30 would be such a great bag and have always loved the cross body option. I agree, if I had one I think I would be very happy with it Xx

love it! the Speedy is a classic, the size is what determines if its "on trend" or not. right now its all about the nano speedy and the speedy 20. TFS!

I have the classic speedy 25 in the monogram print I keep going back and forth whether I want to add the damier ebene in the speedy 25 but don’t know if I need two speedys in my collection I did have the speedy 30 in damier ebene but it was just a tad to big for me but the speedy 25 it’s my perfect everyday bag 💕💕
So beautiful, the 25s are just so special! It’s a hard one that’s how I feel with the Noe bag. I don’t know if it’s silly to have 2 of the same bag but it is also my favourite and I can’t think one that would suit me better. Personally I think if you use the 25 every day and love it then definitely get it in another print 🖤
Great review!! The first LV handbag they made was the Alma and it was actually for Coco Chanel but she didn’t allow them to mass produce until the 1930s. I think the first mass produced handbag was the speedy though.
Yeah coco Chanel the Nazi agent. I would never buy an alma for that reason.
Mrs_Layva has the speedy 25 and she loves it. I know this isn't a style for me but between the two of you styling it, it's growing on me.

Hello I also have the same problem with my speedy I have a handle that patinates in no way the same way because it is not the same animal skin .. I’ve had it for two and a half years, I don’t know what to do! What to do? The person you talked about did what?? Thank you for your advice in advance

@@byShannon My bag I bought in March 2020. Do you know how long it took her to change her wrists at the store? I hope they will change my wrists for free, normally the guarantee of a bag is 2 years. And I just over two and a half years old 😐
At first it was light the difference but the is less light!!! The wrists will be white if they change them to me while the rest of the bag has a slight patina but I prefer that I have no choice I hope the warranty will work otherwise I am blocked

The vintage quality is no doubt way superior! Besides the LV NOE in epi leather, I personally do not like the brand nor the new speedy release. In vintage monogram however makes me change my mind! 🥹
