Its possible to gain balance without gender and having another person. Masculine energy is in all as is feminine energy. I don't feel safe as a woman and its not personal. Its my feeling and my responsibility. Its not your fault, it's not personal and when a man is not perfect its not personal just as when a woman's imperfect it too is impersonal.
