Historic Lewes: "The first town in the First State"! Delaware is lucky to have such a cute, small beach town intact, right next to Rehoboth. Give Lewes a try next time you hit the DE beaches!
Oh, i'm trying real hard not to buy any more hats. The nifty trucker-fisherman's cap in the beginning is for my brother. In addition to a couple other goodies, he gets one of these for Christmas every year. And by the way, that men's beach clothing store, Shorebreak, is very nice. Not cheap, but they have a great brand and quality items.
One last thing: on the matter of regional settlement, there's a curious history of a secret alliance between the Dutch and some silent partners in the early, pre-US days in the Americas that's quite fascinating. The alliance was originally formed in regard to naval warfare - but then dovetails with the transatlantic slave trade...
But i digress.
