I love to see that 97 year old lady do her work. Shes still got what it takes. Awesome power of the Missouri. Sorry to hear you might be losing the Kentucky. Great head on by you of the saltie. Another awesome video.
Great piece. We got the tug Missouri, Paul, Yukon, and Vista Star all in one package. By the way, Paul did a piece from a tug there in Duluth some time ago but I don’t think it was one of the working tugs. I think it was a restoration project of some kind. He might remember if you ask him.
I think I saw that one, I believe it was Edward H, one of the tugs that are used for the shipyard typically. Working tug, but not one that’s commonly used! Seen it out a few times though, always surprises me a bit. Could have been Helen H too, which was used among other things to escort Michipicoten from Thunder Bay in case things went sideways.
@@Boatnerd22 to be honest I’m not sure he even thought much about it lol. The way he was talking to them was pretty familiar, I’m fairly certain he’s even been on board a few times! Most likely not as unique a situation for him as everyone else lol
I was dockside with this ship at Port of Detroit on September 6 as it was unloading thousands of sacks of cement, dust was everywhere. It’s cranes loaded to flatbed trucks and it was piled up onsite.
