Two shot of man and woman in park. Man (who used to be a woman) speaks. Shot of Peter Alexander (the former Mavis Higgins) talks about being brought up as a girl and then casting aside female life and living as a man. He talks about women and their make up and their role in life.
N.B. Although Peter talks about shaving it is not clear if any medical intervention had assisted his sex change.

What legendary footage. This should be kept forever. Proof that we have always been here
That's already known. What is obviously disputed is claims of being "non-binary" and it being 1 in 30 people, as opposed to 1 in 4000, which is what it is.
@@jimmoynahan9910Oh brother, the non-binary came long before trans women and trans men, it was the first type of queer in history, the androgynous, the third gender, it is well documented. This is shown in the hijras of ancient Hindu stories (although many argue that they are just trans women), as well as some Hindu gods who were the combination of man and woman, even in ancient Egypt there was one, Hapi the god.
A reporter (i guess) respecting a trans man in 1927? that’s pretty cool.

An to think about the fact that it looked so easy for the reporter to respect his pronouns conpared with today
I'm pretty sure he didn't want to be called they/them etc... all that garbage 😂
The deadname is Mavis HUGGINS, not HIGGINS. If you spell it correctly you can actually find newspaper articles concerning Peter Alexander's life.
I’m so deeply in love….
Who? Peter? Honestly yes 😍❤️ he is quite handsome and cute. And he would understand what us women go through as he was born one and lived as one
@@marley606 then maybe Peter understood what men go through and how they feel since he became one.
We have always been here.
Oh my gosh this is hilarious, I'm digging around for first hand accounts of trans people from this time period because I have an ftm character. He has almost his exact deadname!
Not deadname; birth name.
@@FoxyGal18 the terms are interchangeable.
