    Dude, that was the most helpful video I've ever seen anyone post on youtube ever. This isnt a "RUclips Video" or "content creation", it's a message youd send to those you care about and genuinely want the best for. It's actual help. Thank you for the knowledge.

    Great video. One more tip.... Crack your driver's window open a bit before disconnecting the battery. Otherwise, if you open or close the door while the battery is disconnected, the window and pillar/roofline will interfere badly and there could possibly be damage. Made a helluva a noise (Crack!) on mine.

    Picked up a 2018 1SS recently. This has to be the most idiotic place to put a battery. We have a BMW that has a battery in the trunk, but at least you can access it without taking all those things out just to get to it. Looks like you basically damage your liner just getting access to it. Unbelievably moronic design!

    • @HyperHawkCamaro
      @HyperHawkCamaro  6 лет назад +4

      Yeah dumbest design I've had to ever deal with.. the only easy accessible thing about it is the negative terminal..

      @@HyperHawkCamaro ~ Mine just went into storage for the winter season. No doubt the car will not turn over in the spring even if I start it a few times a month, from what I'm hearing from other Chevy owners. So I was thinking of disconnecting the negative terminal to avoid battery drain. Did he actually have to cut out the liner. I see the shape of the access area where the negative line is hanging out of the hole at 17 seconds into the vid. I have the same shape in my liner, but mine is not cut out. Don't tell me that I need to cut the damn liner?!

    • @HyperHawkCamaro

      @@Snow-Dog2112 nope it's just a panel it's already cut out the panel pops out just push on it.. if yours doesn't have a removable panel there then your liner wasn't made right. You can also get a trickle charger for the winter alot of people do that
