Good recap. Also another important point newer traders should look at is TFC. Time frame continuity. Meaning going with the trend of the larger time frames. Such as your PDD trade here. It was red on the Yearly, Monthly, Weekly, Daily so on and so on. Having the wind at your back, you have larger participants in the market selling as well as the shorter time frame traders. When you have dissonance in time frames it could lead to chop. Good luck everyone.

It’s depend what you trade. If you trades ES or Nasdaq on futures you won’t get proper trending days very often so it’s better to get quick profit with bigger position.

You asked would someone rather swing trade or wait for a patient set up to scalp? One, what are the opportunities? Two, what is the risk reward when choosing a strategy? Three, what are number of times successful using either strategy over time? Maybe in some circumstances swing trading is a very good strategy while on other occasions scalping is a very good strategy. Never the less, you are brilliant and a delight to learn from!!

yeah gap downs are tricky, it needs substantial catalyst to continue the trend downwards. otherwise we see a lot of gap down and huge bounces

A question on your bottom screen you have two 5 minute charts, why do you only use Volume Profile on the bottom chart and not both?
