Takes me back to 1994 when I'd be up at 5.30 in the morning watching this...all part of showing the Jobcentre how keen I was to get a job. Got one after 3 months.
I remember asking my uncle what "Jobfinder" was when I saw it listed in a TV guide, he told me it was about a detective who specialises in looking into toilet bowls. I believed him.
120 per week seems peanuts now, but look at the cost of living and property. I wish I was an adult in the 90s, just got a regular job and get on the housing ladder. My mortgage would probably be paid off, and sorted!
I'm sure they had classical music on this as I think I may have even recorded some of the music on a tape once. Must have been around 1985 as that was when I just got into classical music.
They should play this montage on a News Channel when it comes time to pay tribute to the legacy of Mrs Thatcher and the type of economy she created "Lets get Britian working again; Working for a pittance in tedious unskilled jobs to subsidise a few toffs and Royals if you don't mind.

Music is Sweet Rapture 1 by Jonathan Butler on Bruton BRD 30 - Inspirations.
The best music on TV in the 90s.

LOVE this music!
So reminiscent of some of the BBC tunes, it is such a shame we do not hear music so good as this these days : (
Can you get anymore jobfinder music? I remember listening to these good tunes when I couldn't get to sleep.
I'm not too sure without looking it up, but I remember the 'New Look' Night Time with the Bjork song on the promo appearing about 1995..

Lots of people where working for under £3 per hour back then.
The wages are in keeping with the polish average.

Is that an hour or a week? Loved the Night Time clip too.
Josh Widdicombe show anyone?
@PortVienna80 Hi there, are you interested in selling a copy (especially if it includes the track in the above clip)
Brilliant! Got any more? I could handle a good 3-4 hours' worth if anybody's still got any?
Hahaha!!
