The RF 35mm is a must have, certainly at least until the RF 16mm & RF 50mm f/1.8. The SA Control feature of the RF 100 produces an effect that needs to be particularly sort after requiring the right subject & scene, otherwise it’s very easy & commonly reported that it’s often set to zero. Recently I’ve begun using the RF 35 again , as I’ve used the RF 14-35 f4 for close up shots & RF 24-240 for general walk around. Gotta love it’s compact size . Nice video by the way
Also, if you're in the US, you can get the 100mm RF lens with an Amazon payment plan that has no interest and does not involve credit or a credit check.
I ordered and paid for this this lens (Canon RF 100mm Macro Lens) almost a year ago now and understand that I had to wait 6-months to get this lens but I still don't have the "Tripod Mount Ring and Adapter" yet and Canon has refused to comment to B&H for an update. I believe that to be unacceptable customer service and therefore can't recommend "Canon equipment" to anyone.
I'd prefer the 100mm, but I already have the 35mm. I also have the 15-35 RF. If the price difference wasn't so great, I'd trade in the 35 for the 100. As it is, I'll stick with what I have as I have a RF 24-105 and am drooling at the thought of a 135 1.4 for portraits! I hope Canon goes thru with that...
Hello, thanks a lot for your feedback. I'm still using the RF 35mm macro lens on my EOS R5 & R6 and I love it, trough it's compact form factor. But I guess, some day I will get the RF 100mm lens. Daniel

Great video 😌
Nice bokeh
35mm is 0.5 macro macro?????
yeah the 35mm 1.8 STM is a macro lens. Daniel
and yes, since you have a 100mm you are much closer to the action then using a 85mm
One is a kit lens and one is a professional lens.. pretty obvious which is better
:)
QUAL É A DO KIT ?
if going any place busy with thousands ppl around you, then go with 35mm, lol. Yes, I mean to say if you going to China or India
