  • PART 2 of 3 - No frills editing here, just some highlights of the run from Ringoes to Flemington and back. Yes, the train originated and returned to RINGOES, and it's not a mistake! This is how they ran the Black River Limited on 16 April 2023 for No. 60's possible last run in a while since she's due to scheduled and required maintenance.
For those impatient to see the engine run-by, go to 9:23 on the time bar, but is you want to see selections (and hear the tour guide here and there), watch the whole thing. After all, that's why you're watching this video, I hope.
I encourage people to get over their fear of New Jersey and get out to Short Line Railroads like this and have a good experience through the countryside. NJ is only 10% urban, and it's got a ton of historic and rural places to explore.

I have some BR&W videos up and more to come on my alternative channel @super8filmrailroadvault
The next video I'm going to assemble over there will be more of engines 60 and 148 and a "mystery" location I suspect might be the Rt 202 overpass. Do you know when the number plate got changed from black and silver to red and gold?

September of last year the number plate got touched up. It was red and gold at one time years and years ago.
