X-Force #1 is one of my favorite issues of comics, ever. I find it really Inspiring.
The New Mutants issues, leading up to this re-vamp, are all Brilliant comics - but I feel that X-Force #1 was the high mountain-peak of excellence, when you count the New Mutants as part of the X-Force run (which I feel strongly that anybody who has read both series would also do).
