As Archbishop Cordileone said in his homily, we give our best to God. This holy Mass was the Best…from the music, the flowers, the incense, the candles, the perfect rubrics on the altar throughout the Mass, the attentiveness and full participation of the approximate 2500 faithful in the pews to the beautiful voices of the babies making their needs known!! Come Holy Spirit! Give us the gifts you poured out on Pentecost so the Church can influence the world again as the Apostles did after Pentecost!

A Eucharistic revival begins with receiving Holy Communion on the tongue and kneeling.

The liberal politicians of San Francisco prevented everyone in the Cathedral to join the actual procession. Only the select religious people like the nuns and priest were the only one who was in the procession crossing the Golden Gate bridge at the most there were only about 30 to 40 people who was in procession with the Blessed Sacrament and the rest were left behind. The people were strictly instructed not to follow the small group procession. I was shocked when I heard that announcement. I went to the Cathedral, and I can say for all of the people who showed up there because they want to join the procession but were prohibited. So many people were discouraged. I don't know whom to blame but it was so disappointing.
Oh no! This is very upsetting! I will try to find a way to join a little bit from my area in Southern CA. I feel called to participate in some way

If you truly love those around you...then everything can change. Allow the Eucharist to change your life. When you receive Him, INVITE him in to change you. I will pray for this for you as well.
@@bluecomb5376 Obviously, you have no idea who you are talking too. I have devoted my life to the proper reception of my bridegroom in reception to receiving Him, which is on the tongue. Cardinal Arinze said it best when he said that if we truly believe that Christ is present in the Eucharist, we should be receiving Him properly which was taught until the horrible changes in the 60s by a Satanist “Cardinal”.
@@Nicole32094you're probably right though. I suspect this explosion of Adoration happening today is because there is almost never proper room for Adoration to happen during the Mass
@@Nicole32094 Obviously I dont know you, but if you call yourself a cynic and say "nothing is going to change" then you are telling me that you dont fully believe in God's saving mercy. If you are a cynic then I encourage you, as a fellow Catholic, to ask God to bless with greater faith and hope.
Imagine preaching about simplicity and yet he's always dressed up more than the pope. Archbishop Cord has on a vestment that is easily over $3000 at least, and a bulky, extravagant crosier. He's not royalty. Yes he is a successor to the Apostles, but not royalty.
The chasuble is for God not for him. It’s supposed to represent the beauty and intrinsic nature of God as we see in nature or any other part of reality.A beautiful mountain range carved by God for example is as beautiful as the vestures here. Its for the worship of God, same as in the Old Testament when in the tabernacle.

@@DoctorDewgong that's true, but that's why there are COUNTLESS litgurical vesture sites that are affordable for a reason, to still hold fast to the idea of wearing something that is not only worthy for the sacrifice of the mass, but also not something that is ridiculously expensive as the church is suppose to practice wat we preach of simplicity
