The Fight for The New Rain Queen in South Africa: Modjadji Dynasty

In todays video, we will be looking at the long and complicated journey to select a new Rain Queen from the Modjadji Dynasty, that rules the Balobedu Kingdom, who has special rain making abilities. The chosen ruler is Princess Masalanabo Modjadji, who will have her coronation in August of this year.
We will look at the family struggle and politics, confusion and legality of the situation, that led to the final conclusion to a almost, two decade battle for the throne. After last Rain Queen, makobo modjadji had passed away, after inheriting the throne from her ancestors such as Mokope Modjaji V, the throne has currently been in regency for nearly two decades.
