It's honestly fascinating how people feel different about this type of music, some feel at peace, some feel a certain longing, others feel deeply depressed, everyone listens to dark electronic music for different reasons.

My whole life, before 12 years old, I only wished to skip time and end up 22 years old: finished with college, interviewing for a job, and finding the world. All my life, I have refuted the reality of the world, all I cared about was the finale.
I cannot express how much I wish I didn't look so far ahead when I couldn't comprehend it. I'm 14 now, nearing 15, and I can already see it.
I've worked endlessly, knowing that I will become the best at what I choose to do. But with every brick I add to the top of the pyramid, I accidentally scratch the bottom with the same brick.
I've scratched it so much, it's collapsing right under my feet. I am in 9th grade, but I don't feel like a 9th grader: I feel like a 12th grader, who skipped 4 years of my life. Just like I wanted....
Now it feels like I am sitting on a 100 meter tall Fortnite structure, and the support has vanished, leaving the builds slowly crumpling under me, forcing me to keep cranking 90's to stay above the disappearance.
I feel like I'm in a race against time: If I don't build up fast enough, the floor beneath me with eventually disappear, and I will fall... forever...
Time is the only resource. What you're doing is not necessarily unhealthy, but Reflection is crucial. And it should NOT be confused with self-pity nor judgement. One day, when you're about to cross beyond the void veil... Reflect carefully.

Every single night. I think...
I think for hours on end...
Just trying to find out what I need, what to do with my life, what I truly want...
I look into the past for experience, the present for reflections, and the future for decisions. I think about everything: my parents, my school, my friends, my goals, my emotions, my actions.
And no, I don't consider this overthinking. Yes, by definition, overthinking means thinking way too much. But I don't do it out of regret, self-pity, or self-hatred. I do it, simply to *know* more. I understand myself so much I don't understand how or why.
My problem is that I cannot find what I am looking for. There is something I am missing, and I know it. I am *confident* in it. The search is something that has always been a part of me.
😢I only know loneliness and watching those around me fade away. 😢
