It’s mainly due to me missing my old childhood home from the 90s in a whole other different country.
Haven’t seen it in person for 23 years now. The country only recently allowed Google street view so I only have my memory of how it looked all the way back in 2001 to now.
I just miss, everything about then.
I’m happy here where I am now. But countless nights I keep selfishly wishing I was a kid again.

If you always think your happiness is somewhere else, it’ll never be where you are. And you’ll spend the rest of your life, chasing something you already had.

I'm one of Korean high school students. When I go to high school, I feel so bad bacause of my classmates. I'm afraid of losing my happiness because of them. Although it seems that I have so dirty mind, I want to get happiness
I miss everything about the early 2000s, now im almost to the point of getting a drivers license, getting into high school. The simplicity was amazing now im constantly stressing about what i could be diagnosed with next, i wish i couldnt get old.
My mom passed away 4 months ago, and i miss so much the old days, and i'm only 25, nothing gonna be the same as before.

I miss many moments, but at the same time I appreciate them as well. The same way that right now will be in the past tomorrow. Live, for the present. We will all be gone one way or another, and no matter where you go someone is waiting for you. And if you leave someone will miss you.
Sometimes I feel stuck in the past, 15 years ago. I'm 30 and I use to omagine how good life was in my high school days. But then I realize that life can be good anytime, anywhere, you just have to be yourself, and although it sounds a clichè, it is true. Now for instance, I'm in a very hard moment, but yet trying to know myself.

But in the sense of memories and nostalgia, they feel like a blip. These past few years feel like they never existed because of how they feel so fast. But if you look back at the total length of your life you've had right now, then compare that to the life expectancy you have now! Everything seems old now, but will be much older later. So hold onto those precious memories, even if they feel so fast. Because memories to be made are more important than ones that have been.
In a nutshell, just accept growth. Its better to embrace it like a gift, rather than a curse.
You do not miss the old days. You miss the you back then. You miss the kindess and hope you felt. You miss laughing and letting yourself go. You miss socializing and living. You miss the childlike wonder you use to have, because you were a child. The internet raised a whole generation. Our adulthood is full of confusion and tiny videos that makes us forget that we are the problem. Companies that want your soul and time to make more money are the problem. You don't miss the old days. You miss a time when you didn't know what was happening. And now you're here. It's not too late. Find Christ. Win your life back. Don't give up. Fight.
