- The O1 US visa is an alternative to the J1 visa which can be used by doctorates, postdoctoral researchers, mid-career researchers and senior scientists and professors who have published journal papers and obtained awards and recognition from their community to come and work in the US.

What would be the odds of getting O1A visa approved with MS degree and currently in the job in USA? The background info is that the person has approved I-140 under EB2-NIW
MS degree is a good start. Some examples of personal exceptional achievements are needed. These could be patents, judging works of others, awards and honors, journal articles, presentations, work cited by others, etc. a good lawyer can help to make a case. An element of luck is always needed

Can any US citizen or green card holder become a US agent? Or, an agent needs to be working in the same field or has relationship with the sponsors? Can I (green card holder, currently a housewife) become an agent for my relative (fashion designer) O1visa process?

Application is always possible but getting a positive response can be difficult. Completing the PhD and improving the CV makes the cases stronger. Only an immigration lawyer can say if a case is really good.
