I just recently started a practice journal where I also take notes on all piano lesson/videos I watch and this one thing has revolutionised how I practice

What I’m finding is to stick with practicing one tune for a couple of months- - singing root motion against the melody and melody against root motion in every key and then work on playing over parts of the tune again in every key- getting every interval clear in the brain.

Hi Guys. Just want to let you know I am a guitarist and I really enjoy your podcast. A lot of what you discuss can be applied to all instruments. I also purchased the pdf of the theme song which is fantastic and a fun work out in itself. I also bought the track on iTunes. Peter, nice job! Thanks so much guys and….Ladies Agreement signed! 👍

Thanks, guys! Could you do a podcast on coordinating right and left hands in stride: specifically, right-hands runs with left-hand jumps. I can do a passable job on "Remembering You," but the main run sounds clunky, so I just use chord inversion. What's the secret to smooth stride runs?

" if you don't practice for a day you notice, if you don't practice for two days your fellow musicians notice, if you don't practice for three days the audience notice," not sure who said this but I think it's true.

Good podcast! I'll be honest and admit I didn't listen till the end (late at night) so I hope I'm not repeating obvious shit you guys said, but I'd add that every "hardcore" student should have a day of their choice in which they literally forget about studying, no playing, no theory studying, and such. It really helps the brain metabolize all the material you've been churning through (backed by neuroscience studies :D)! Love your work guys, keep it up ;)

Not specific enough. More helpful in the last 1/4.
