Some more tips I have found from my very short time editing are: -dont overdo it, otherwise it seems forced and unatural. -if you have no music, probably should just have a wind sound all the way through. one whoosh and then complete silence also seems unnatural and forced. -you can play with the left and right audio levels if objects are passing on the left and right for an immersive experience with stereo speakers/headphones
Loved this! Thanks so much! I have become fascinated with the one shot videos like what jaybird has been doing and he has great sound design and I was wondering how it was done thank you!!

Great video. Good to know we have a similar approach to sound design! 🙂 I’ve started doing this more and more recently, and you’re right! It definitely takes footage to the next level 😎
@@tomstrojnik epidemicsound and Final Cut Pro so far but just got added as an Artlist partner, so will probably also be using them going forward (and shooting a similar tutorial video to this haha)
Thank you so much for this tutorial! Really I just got into fpv 2 weeks ago wanted to get into cinematic recordings but never new how to "sound design". Once again THANK YOU, you helped me alot
Loving every upload even more ! Could you make a video about your camera settings (shutter speed...etc) and fpv editing ? I love the motion blur in your footage Keep up the good work !

2 months free Artlist with a ridiculous audio watermark... makes the audio worthless. Would have been nice to know that before wasting my time setting up an account.
@@tomstrojnik Just checked again. The 2 months free is with a year long subscription so technically its not free. Gotta pay the $199 but instead of 12 months I guess you get 14 months. The real "free trial" is all watermarked audio.
What's your favourite sound effect to use in FPV drone videos? 👇
The sound of a carbon frame and some electronic components hitting solid concrete is a sound I use in most of my film work
@@LiamKurtSmith tbh i'm not 100% sure which sound effect you have in mind? Can you share a link to some of your work? :)
@@tomstrojnik Sounds like sarcasm. He's basically describing the sound of a drone crashing
@@Nightstalker1993 lool true. Thanks man
@@tomstrojnik Back to the initial question, I know it is cliche but definitely wooshes when done right definitely adds more feel to the video haha

Great video! Thank you! Tom, do you recommend ifligh nazgul 5 v2 or iflight nazgul 5 hd?
Do you wanna fly analog or digital? :) I prefer Nazgul5 HD :)
@@tomstrojnik Thank you
Nazgul5 HD is so sweet!
@@LZRFPV true that, very reliable and durable!
Sir nice one. Which motors are best for cinematic HD quads? 2306 or 2207?
Thanks. I fly with 2207. This is always a personal preference. Try both and see what is best for you
Woww this need a huge focus hahaa btw what kind of software u use ld for vid editing?
Premiere Pro :) And sometimes Resolve for color grading and After Effects for tracking etc
@@tomstrojnik thanks for the tips! I'll get that in mind heee
what program are you using to edit your drone footage and add the music though?
Headphone warning with the plane omg

@@tomstrojnik WOW all of them match up so perfect i figured they had to be recorded seperatly. Awsome work.
Excuse me, sir, but what app are you using in this tutorial to edit your cinematic FPV drone video?
what background music when u explain in the vdieo please give info of music
Uf I honestly don't know... and I don't have this Premiere Pro project anymore, so I can't check. I got it on Artlist though.
@@tomstrojnik no worrys thanks mate
Why it ain’t viral????
What software are you using to put this together?
Premiere Pro
Is it advisable to use other artist songs for background music. Does it acceptable/legalise. Advise.
Yes, I've used it for every RUclips video this year, since March. And I also use it for my filmmaking gigs for clients.

Sorry for that hah
whats the name of this dial up table?
Not sure what you mean?
@@tomstrojnik the dial you control forward and backward video.
@@rafaelfortunato5159 Where in the video do I use it?
@@tomstrojnik You dont, but i figured out thats dial in the right side o the base of your monitor it was for that.

Really? About a year ago I took 2 months for free as a trial and there was no audio watermark.. are you sure you are signed in you account properly?
@@tomstrojnik maybe not! Might give it another try. I was shocked. It was like worthless haha.
Or maybe it was something like you have to sign up for the $300 year fee and then you get 2 months free up front but still charged $300
