I so happy for you guys, looked like a great expo. Some really good footage, and the Volvo sleeper! I'm in love with that sleeper. I'm glad to see manufacturers are finally taking driver comfort to the level it should be. When I was out on the road, one hot meal a week, one shower a week, and it was a quick hundred bucks out of my pocket! If I had the sleepers that are available now I'd never have left the industry.

You guys are so humble...love your work. Was in the US a few months ago and couldn't believe the amount of trucks...obviously we dont have population like you guys do expedition doesnt happen on a large scale here due to distance and population. I drive a volvo good truck haha.

I believe EOL started the expditers expo. It or something like that was held at the "Detroiter" truck stop. Where USA Alumi-bunk was. That was 2001 ish.

Before I started at Transit, I spent 20 years in a shop in Kelowna building parts for Western Star. The main plant started in Kelowna and was here for 35years before moving to Portland. Parts still originate here and that 82"sleeper you sat in was built here. I have friends who did the aluminum welding on the frames and another friend who does the sheeting. That used to be my job. Cut and bend all the sheeting. I spent thousands of hours on presses,press brakes and shears making parts for those trucks. Very proud to have been part of that truck. My dad worked at the main plant in the harness shop building harnesses and building up the dashes. That plant with all the spinoff jobs was a huge employer for the Okanagan Valley. 5 jobs for every one in the plant so it created about 5000 jobs indirectly 😎🇨🇦 MILES AND MILES OF SMILES

Awesome video! That Volvo was suuuuweet right😍? Too bad those guys were in the Cascadia. I know y'all are looking at those for your next truck. Freightliner did a really nice design on the 2018's. I love that front end on those new Cascadias. That is a good looking truck! Thanks for taking us along.✌️

First off I've got to say love me some Western Star that's the kind of truck we drove and I mean it was fully loaded and I absolutely loved that truck had the big window like that when did back there but we only had one in our sleeper and it was on the passenger side of the sleeper which made it easier if we ever had to do a blind side back which I had to do numerous times that window over there helped out a lot glad to see you guys are having fun out there at the Expo 💚🍀🚚

Western Stars are awesome trucks! Thats what im in now! Jason is right! The wood grain is a major pain! Its a dust collector! Im wiping mine down 2-3 times a day!
Man I've been thinking about being an expeditor driver I never got to see videos on this until I saw you guys you guys got me thinking a different way cuz some people are saying you don't make that much money but it all depends on you but anyways you guys got me decided to start doing this kind of trucking cuz it seems like something i will enjoy doing.

I'm not a trucker, naturally I didn't go. But I do love looking at trucks and I enjoy your videos & Jason I also like wood grain dash boards, I have one in my 97 Custom Jeep, LOL..... I think it breaks up all that grey color they used in the 90's, however the wood in my Jeep is not near that dark, mine is a more tan with marble lines in it. I did not like the dark brown either. Glad you guys had a good time. It has been raining here in Pa for a week straight and there has been a lot of flash flooding and as of 7/25/2018 is still raining with more flash floods in the forecast. Thanks for showing us around the XP, the ones like me that could not attend.... Peace and Blessings.

Yes, we have been getting a lot of rain, and more storms in the forecast until at least the weekend. Shyann goes out all the time, hot, cold, rain, snow. I called her in just after a vicious thunderstorms and heavy rain, it had been about 8 hours since she had been in last and I wanted to feed her. She was only slightly damp, so she has places she goes to get out of the rain. In the winter she does not stay out as long. At night I call her in, give her a can of her favorite food, then often she will craw up on me and nap for about an hour, then she'll wake up and either sleep in her own bed or on one of her scratching post shelves about another 5 to 8 hours. So she seems to have both a wild and gentle passion in her DNA. As much as I miss her not being in the house with me, I'm glad I have the wooded land where she can go out and do cat things and play and be happy, yet not have to worry where her next meal is coming from and I can insure she has good health care. If Shyann wants in badly, she will run on the roof of my trailer which is metal. Somehow she knows I can hear her and it's her ticket to getting in the house (my trailer). I pretty much give Shyann her choice where she wants to be, stay in or go outside. Regardless where I see her inside or outside, she's always friendly, comes up near me and brushes against me as to say Hi and kind of hangs around me and I like that. That is true acceptance from a slightly wild animal. ..... Talking about pets, give your babies and extra hug for me as I like dogs too, I'm just not in the position to own one for a lot of reasons. Under the right circumstances, I'd get a dog in a heart-beat.
The custom Volvo's (especially the 120" sleeper)..... How tall is the front seat area? Could someone 6' stand up without bumping their heads? And any idea what the pricing was?
K'Bear Fuzzy Ears My 780 has plenty of room for someone over 6 foot tall. My son is 6' 5" and has no issues.
James Roberson we have a 770 Volvo. We were wondering about the custom one that the crafty trucker's toured.
K'Bear Fuzzy Ears I am not 100% positive, but I have been in multiple Volvos with the super sleeper modifications. They're usually on the T64 frame and cab chassis. That is the basic same as my 780. I have had a 730, and (2) 780's. I think I should have gotten the new 860 this time, but it is all good. The 730 was a flat roof with lower head room up front. The 780's have a lot more headroom up front and back. Good luck with whatever you decide.
