Death Angel = guaranteed top quality metal. Never a bad album
Mark is one of the few screamers who sounds better than he did in the 80s. Kudos.
Well, depends on what your take of him, at age 15 was?
The Ultra-Violence: they were 14, 15, 15, 16 years old at release. Back then, Mark more or less Shrieked.
His voice is still Topps, for what he does. But he definitely isn't perfect live, and that's no knock. All the shrieking he did over the years, will make your voice sound rough.. I dig it tho

The song has a great groove because the bass is pleasantly audible and sits great in the mix.
And it didn't get overshadowed as well

It's a crime that I've been a fan of thrash metal since I was a kid, and never heard of Death Angel until 5 years ago. Death Angel is one of the best bands on this planet!

Seriously?? Well, in that case, you should DEFINITELY go and check out "Ultra Violence" from the 80s. Yes, the 80s. Still the best metal song EVER. And to think that the guys were just teenagers at the time... That is one of the tunes that has lived with me literally for decades.

Absolutely. One of the most underrated thrash metal bands, and definitely in the Top 10. Mark Osegueda is one of the Top 3 best thrash metal vocalists too.

Whew.....Death Angel and Exodus reeeeeally have gotten their second wind the past few years. Both bands are making inspired thrash, this being another example.

The one thing that really grabs my attention is that snare. I mean listen to that attack pop of that snare. It just drives the song along so good. Just awesome. Second song now that's great. Can't wait for the whole album.

I saw Death Angel twice in a year’s time in 2017, at a small club in Dickinson Texas and at Austin City Limits. They waited by the entrance of the club to talk to and to thank fans as they left... awesome night

Holy shit! That was fucking awesome. It's like they took you on a thousand different journeys at once, each solo taking you to a new height from different angles and yet still managed to keep it melded together as one. Can not wait to pick up this album.

Growing up in the 80s I’m not sure how I missed D A , I love them , the newest album is great. I’m a little behind but finding them and Trivium this past year really re-energized me to dig into heavier music which I thought I left behind with my younger self.
Just listen to these guys. There is no fucking stopping Death Angel. Every single preview song they've released has been nothing short of mind-blowing. This new album is going to bust some balls.

Back during my teens, especially at 16 and around there, I was a real thrasher and I cranked "The Ultra-Violence" out in the woods. One of my favorite thrash albums ever, and now I've been cranking the last three for DA albums for a few weeks. Just damn, these guys really came back with a vengeance with "Relentless Retribution", and every album since has been killer!

Been listings to them since the late 80's and although they have many great albums, this one could be their best!! I remember when they first came out they were like 17/18yrs old and i'd read where they had a hard time getting gigs because legally they were too young to be in the bars they needed to play. Glad to see you came back (several yrs ago) after such a long hiatus. "Welcome to the 3rd Floor"!! :-)
