    just finished doing my 2020 xl ranger. little different then some steps but looks great. Took me several hours but never doing that again. they look great. talking with the guys at the local Ford body shop and all 3 guys wanted nothing to do with it 🤣 they said these newer models are pain in the ass just to change lights or anything for that matter

      did you have to do the wiring harness? hows it holding up. electrical stuff makes me a little nervous.

    Very cool but as all other replacements for Ranger these have no ECE stamp so it's illegal to use them in Europe. That's a shame.

    Hi, I’ve just installed the led version on my ranger . It is all ok - with right side light, but the left side - leds to turn at all. DRL is working and signals on both, sequence is running fine - but no power to main LEDs. What do you think might be - problem? I don’t know where to start.

    Good effort, but I really expected more. I think I'll still be going with my $350 HID retrofit.
    Hotspot is too far below the cutoff line (optics not adjustment), and the LED headlights don't do a great job of lighting up either side.

    • @HeadlightRevolution
      @HeadlightRevolution  3 года назад +3

      You can adjust the hotspot with the adjustment screws located on the back of the housing. They are in the same location as OEM. We set them to the same as the OEM lights so you could see the difference in lighting.

      @@HeadlightRevolution what is the way of fixing a broken adjustment screw? This seems to be very common on these headlights and also something I am dealing with at this time.

      @@davibills I just installed these. I was trying to vertically adjust and the screw got to a certain point, popped, and now it just spins. I wasn't turning it with much force. :/

    I’m seeing allot of newer vehicles, including mine, using led reflector headlights, I’m not a fan. I like projectors better because of the blue hue it gives with the sharp cut off… and this is evident with all Mazda SUV’s 22 and up for example… like I’ll know it’s a Mazda because if that signature hue with their projector 65k

      Mazda is also a company that tends to go above and beyond on their lighting, they've always had some great headlights.

    Which Rangers wouldn't have the DRL harness? wouldn't any Ranger that has the DRL function have that? For example the XLT has amber DRLs... I thought maybe the clip with the red truck and wiring harness requirement might be a XL, but it has fog lights meaning its at least an XLT? Am I missing something? thanks

    • @HeadlightRevolution
      @HeadlightRevolution  2 года назад

      If your Ranger has OEM Halogen headlights without the DRL from the factory, you will install the DRL harness! If your Ranger does have OEM LED headlights with the LED DRL, your truck comes wired for this function from the factory and will not need the extra harness! Fire away with any further Qs on these headlights: Sales@HeadlightRevolution.com

      @@HeadlightRevolution So my Ranger has Halogen headlights (which is why i'm ordering LEDs), but it does have the DRL option, its just the amber turn signal just stays on. You activate the DRL in the lights section from the menu. I don't think its LED, but im not sure.
