Man this just reinforces my idea that PSA just randomly picks grades out of a hat. Truly unbelievable
notice the cards that didnt got 10s were dupes.. its like they cant give x amount of that card a 10 lmao its lame.
Basically all the 9s had clearly raised or lowered titles.
That's what they were getting marked down for.

Whoever was grading those LOB reprints were just having a rough day apparently lol. Those japanese cards would be my favorite, so slick.

Imagine sending in a 300 dollar card just to have it lost. Thank god i didnt send my wc flamewing pegasus or 03 blue eyes in. Psa are some bitches especially on grading. My blue eyes are definatly 10s cuz they still look brand new cuz they been sleeved and hard sleeved since pulled from the pack but doubt they will give it a 10 if it dont get stolen.
Too many in their database. Gotta give lower grades to make their database looks better.
Someone at PSA must've been jealous of all these cards to grade them so harsh!! The Dark Paladin has to be my favourite though, what a grail to get in psa 10!!
I was enjoying ruxins reactions to the 7s and 8s more than the cards themselves. But seeing the old school LOB cards brought back some serious nostalgia....but damn...that needle worm was pretty sweet to see.
@@thotslayer9922 the odds of pulling a rare in tournament packs are 1 in 3, super rare 1 in 18 and the lone ultra rare, 1 in 108. And yes Needle worm was a super rare in tp5
I always felt that grading companies should disclose why the card got the grade it did. Kind of like how some companies do sub grades, PSA for the prices they charge could do a lot better

i agree with the subgrades kinda why i like bgs... but on the other hand i always love when i see people say its well centered it should be a 10 lol
@@thotslayer9922 tbh a 10 is "lucky" even with a perfect card psa will most likely give you a 9 anyways.
I'd go with bgs. They do subgrades so that you dont get a 9 only because there is 0.1 mm difference in centering or something

This is insane! So many nostalgic cards. Really surprised some of these grades weren’t higher. My favorites are probably the Suijin and Gate Guardian. They were some of my favorites back in the day!
Revival jam will always be iconic cause of the anime.
Started rough, but picked up the pace midway! Definitely a lot harsher grades on the reprints which is unfortunate. Best return was the celtic guardian 10 for me, such a classic card!
Ahh! Those reprint grades hurt. Some of them definitely looked like they were AT LEAST a 9. I wish grading companies gave reasons why cards get a specific grade. Favorite cards of this video though HAS to go to Air Neos. Such a blast from the past and it both excites me to see it and saddens me because kid me back in the day had one.
Love the PSA 10 Needle Worm, it is one of those cards i remember from the good old times!
The Japanese cards were my favorite. I always liked layout on those cards.

Favourite card was the Korean LOB Blue-Eyes. I got into opening a lot of foreign products last year and love the quality of the card stock, the different rarities, and ultimately how inexpensive it is to open! Love the video and all the hard work you put in. Keep it up!
True! I started collecting TCG but when I saw how great the quality and various rarities of the OCG was, I switched.

Man PSA graded some cards real harshly... Overall it was still so fun to watch! My favorite has got to be the PSA 10 Air Neos. It's insane to get an Air Neos much less a gem mint 10! Shoutouts to Ian for the crazy giveaway!!

The 2004 BLS was my favorite card in elementary school so that was my favorite PSA to see in this vid. Keep up the amazing work!

So many questionable grades, especially on the reprints. The consistency with PSA grades seems kinda sketchy. I understand they aren’t going to hand out 10s to everything, but that’s just ridiculous. Nonetheless that was an awesome return!!

A grading institution should be independent from the market regardless of how it would affect it. What a scam psa is
No, if you send is mint stuff you should get 10s.
Then its probably like the grading companies for coins and banknotes that do not grade based on what they receive but from who they received it

My favorite is probably Air Neos. Especially after probably being deleted by Konami, still sick looking card.
That Gem Mint 10 Blue Eyes from MVP 1 is GORGEOUS!
Seeing such a huge PSA return confirms their randomness in grading, so many 10s were OC (like Korean blue eyes) and so many 9s were perfectly centered (like cyberdark)
I really felt that Ruxin was going to lose his shit seeing those sevens
Seeing 8s or less on pack fresh cards hurts me every time. It makes me scared to grade sometimes. My favorite card was probably the foreign blue eyes. So cool and beautiful foil.
It’s stupid because you can look at an eight on eBay and see like Edgeware and then these cards come out of the pack in mint condition typically, sometimes not even off-center and get like a seven or eight. It’s so inconsistent that it’s inconceivable

Commenting again after we hit the reprint cards. Grading is such a joke man. There’s no possible way qualified people take the time to assess every card upon the millions of back orders. Absolutely no chance at all. Laughable quality control
How incompetent must PSA be if they're going to inadvertently send one of their paying customers ANOTHER paying customers' cards? The biased rating against the reprints was unacceptable, but the former is absurd. What if the cards were sent to someone that decided to keep them for themselves?
Just take your business to Beckett or something. This is ridiculous.
I just recently got my subs back from PSA. First time submitting cards to them. Sent 10 cards in and I got back 4 9s, 3 8s, 2 7s, and a 6. Two of the 8s, upon further review, were not completely centered. So I understand why those got 8s. My 6, however, was in LOD Injection Fairy Lily. I thought it was a good candidate for submission. After I got it back, I noticed the card had 1 tiny indentation in it. Everything else about the card was perfect. That one little dent killed the grade. Two of my 9s were a SDJ Red-Eyes and a master collection BLS. Both cards were immaculate and still couldn't get a 10. We'll see how well my next subs fair.

Needle Worm''s gonna have to be my favorite. Pulled one from a random Tournament Pack i bought at a KB Toys back in the day, my first time seeing Tournament Packs. Still have him. Love that little fella.
My Favorites Are Air Neos, The Dragon Capture Jar, Suijin and Gate Guardian. Those cards would be my favorite, so slick.
Those PSA graded cards were all cool to see as slabs Ruxin! Favorite cards that I saw from that return were the PSA 10 TP5 needle worm and that PSA 10 SDJ 1st edition red eyes B. Dragon! Holy cow bro!
It's crazy because I recently got one of my childhood cards graded just for fun. It has 4 corners with visible whitening and the back of the card is all foggy from literally not being in any sort of protection for 18 years and it still graded a 7. I would crack and resubmit yours and I bet almost all the 7 and 8 cards would upgrade.
To be honest my favorite psa grades in this video was all the nine u get it that face reactions u make is what makes the video good to watch and continue watching to see if u get better grades every card I turn around
I generally like shiny cards more so Elemental Hero Tempest and Air Neos are my favourite of the bunch in this video. Pulled so many STON packs back then but Air Neos just won’t come home… I do appreciate the fact that you are showing some love to commons by grading them though.
Nice to see PSA returns coming in again. Fav card from the return in the Elemental Hero Air Neos! Imo the most coveted hero with only the one printing.

Harpy Lady Sisters had to be my favorite, brought memories of my brother and I getting up when we were younger to binge yu-gi-oh, it was during the pegasus tournament days, good times!!
That PSA 9 🧠Brain Control was my favorite, it’s gotta unique look to it for sure.
The Dark Magician Girl secret 10. That's gotta be my choice. Iconic card for me, first pack of Magicians force I opened was 1st Ed Girl the day of release. And I gave it to a friend to remember by when I left for the military. Seeing the new art was cool
That Red-Eyes B. Dragon has to be my favorite pull of the video, although it's not LOB but an old-school 1st edition does the job. Also, it hit the 10 Gem Mint

Seeing Reaper of the Cards was hilarious. Can’t imagine someone attacking into one with a Hitotsu-Me Giant, the using Solemn Judgement. Few YGO players have calculated that division and lived to tell the tale lol. Love the videos

my favorite card from this opening was the Portuguese blue-eyes that got a 10. I was also hyped when i saw all the ultimate rares.

I would have to say my favorite return was the LOB Blue eyes card. It has always been one of my favorites
Favorite for me was definitely Gia The Dragon Champion. Was one of my favorite cards as a kid from my old collection. Unfortunately don’t have any of my old cards. Just started getting into collecting Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh cards

What a rollercoaster of a ride, this PSA return was EVERYWHERE, they absolutely murdered the reprints haha Favorite item from this return would be the BEWD from EX Starter Box as well as the other cards from that set really. Such a cool part of Yugioh history.

I think those movie blue eyes white dragons were super cool and they got the 10! Ruxin thank you so much for being such a great Yu-Gi-Oh community member... You've got me back into Yu-Gi-Oh and I'm so excited to start pulling for some awesome cards, even though I'm on a very low budget right now haha I recently pulled a starlight Illusion of Chaos and I've been so excited ever since then. Hoping to add a ghost rare to my collection one day!
Unfortunate to see those grades on the classic pot of greeds, was super cool to see that 10 on the Joey starter red eyes, probably my favorite starter deck 👌🏻
My favorite has to be the Grade 10 Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon. One of my favorite cards as a kid, ever since I played Dungeon Dice Monsters on GBA.
I actually liked the Portuguese gem mint 10 Blue Eyes the best. All the Blue eyes art is so nostalgic to me and I love it for that.

They were harsh on those grades but Hitotsu-Me Giant is still my LOB favorite and glad to see the PSA 10!
The 7 blue eyes was my fav. Obviously not the best grade but that card still holds a lot of nostalgia for me :)
