LOL! We separated them! The pigs are in a separate space now! We just put them back to where they were before we added them to the front pasture! But, maybe one day when they are bigger than the goats they will be able to all be together! :)

I get it! The book of Genesis is basically "looking forward" to a particular descendant. Genesis is looking for a particular descendant that will be God's vessel of redemption. You have these promises of a Messiah and you're reading through the genealogies wondering "which one of these will be the Messiah"? "How will the blessing be carried on"? "Who is the Messiah"? Every story or story arc leaves you wondering what about the Messiah. Even in the flood, your wonder "Wait, what about God's promise of the Messiah"?

Great video! Funny enough I just rewatched the video you did on Gen 1 and I was reminded to not read it with our modern eyes and mindsets but through ancient Middle Eastern mindset. I hope the pigs and goats get along soon! Hope you are doing well! 💖

Alongside the reading I have been watching Unlocking the Old Testament by David Pawson, here on YT. This is an incredible resource and I highly recommend it to everyone. His series actually takes you through the entire bible but because Genesis is taking a long time, I haven't got to his Acts video yet.
A W E S O M E Faith!!! Genesis is LOADED w/ peo/places/events! But this helped me to think about what you shared. I will meditate on your words and try to keep them in my mind and heart as I begin to read this examples of God in Genesis!!! Thank you so much!!!
Rick, none of us can complete this year-plan in the way our mind and heart desires. With the Holy Spirit, we can absorb His Word and grow each day we pray and read!! I want to encourage you to be with the Lord in prayer and in His Word daily. ❤🙏
Hey Faith 😁! Can you cover the title of a helper? In Romans 16, it mentions several people in Paul's letter, that are helpers but most are only mentioned in the letter for acknowledgement. Thank you for your videos 😊
That was a lot of information! Wow! I have two questions and a prayer request. Q 1... If the Bible is not in chronological order, and Genesis is the beginning, then why are the Bible books in the place they are? Does that make sense? Q 2...who does the little animations? They are so cute!! Okay..prayer request....my husband James is in a hospital in downtown Houston. He has 3 different things going on in his body....he has COVID, he has cellulitis in his legs, and he has an abscess in his belly that he said the doctors found pus in a few places within the abscess. I think that's right. Anyway, he is very sick. Please keep him in your prayers for awhile! And for me too, because I deal with pain in my own body, but I'm more worried about him right now. Thanks!
Ok, i feel silly but could someone explain something for me if something says Genesis 23:1-25:18 I understand the 1-25 but what is the 18? Any help would be appriciated.
I've found where doctors are concerned, you have to kiss a lot of frogs... after the last "2" I fired, my family found a great one! When I switched to a woman gynecologist I got my hysterectomy... best day of my life. We'll always miss the joy of having children, (as you said, God's will is not the same for all), but now we borrow them, spoil them rotten, and send them home, definitely wonderful!!!
I know that I am probably the minority here but u mentioned that people who worshiped the false gods would sacrifice their animals out of fear of the anger of the false gods. I've read through the Bible several times and it seems as if the true God would also be angry not only requiring sacrifice but for it to be done in an exact way. Yes because of my upbringing I see God angry sometimes. Just trying to understand
GREAT question! No, yes- like totally.... God had a specific way set out for sacrifices. BUT, sacrifices to false gods never really appeased them. Like, it was more to ward off the gods and keep them "off your back". They were viewed as unpredictable and definitely not just or fair or gracious. While God DID have specific rules set up for sacrifices, it was in love and protection as well as justice that He had the system in place and then of course we know in His love and mercy He ultimately offered up Himself to satisfy the penalty of sin once and for all who believe.
@@HowtoFaithALife thank u for the reminder. Because of my natural beliefs this is something I have to remind myself of often. That what God does for His children is always out of love and protection
