OK, but you don't need to be a part of ROTC to gain a commission. Just because you go to a university with ROTC doesn't mean you have to use it. I just don't get the "gotcha" moment when he discusses the ROTC vs OCS part.
I once travelled to the U.S for vacation and went to one of those military surplus stores. I ended up buying a combat shirt and some patches. After going back to my hotel room, RUclips showed me some stolen valor videos. Ever since, I got scared of wearing the shirt and ended up wearing it only twice. I stored it in a case when I went back home. It just showed me how much soldiers sacrifice themselves and how people respected them, and I was there on vacation
