    This is a great setup! Great note on the dual 3.5mm and USB output, very few reviewers mentioned this. Also the note about MXF is awesome

      Yep, as yan mentions , this $20 accessory has the RODE Wireless mics dress up for Halloween EVERY day as REAL mics. It’s simultaneously the most SILLY AND STUPID accessory AND the most brilliant. Dear Sir,
    Greetings.Thanks for your great video.
    Please guide me , regarding the use of Rode Wireless PRO, as wireless hands free mic for public address for mega church meetings etc. where preacher and interpreter stands together with their mobiles etc.
    1) Rode Wireless PRO being GHz,will our mobiles,wi-fi etc.interfear with it's signals, so that the voice gets affected?
    2) Can Rode Wireless PRO receiver be connected directly to the sound amplifier or is it possible only through a mixer ?

    Question- so you can record 32 bit float on each transmitter while also recording audio to the receiver? will the audio in the receiver be 32 bit as well or just the audio from the transmitters?

    • @brandnewextragood
      @brandnewextragood  11 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, both transmitters are recording in 32 bit, but only on the transmitters. The receiver will be outputting 16/24 bit (I can’t remember which) over 3.5mm and/or USB.

    Agreed that it looks kinda goofy. But at least you didn't just hold a wired lav mic up to someone's face like all the tiktok influencers do now. Man does that annoy me. Your setup was still pretty sleek

      Yeah, I was going to order the Rode handheld adapter that is basically just a handle with a windscreen so it looks more like a traditional microphone, but it wasn’t going to arrive in time for the shoot.

  • @obarovft314
    @obarovft314 9 месяцев назад

    what fps did the rode 32bit record?

  • @arielshpitzer
    @arielshpitzer 2 месяца назад

    Just hook a microphone with a cable to the Camera. this looks like trash. appear very amateur.
    You can buy one of those microphone triangles to hide the janky hookup and you can even stick a logo on those.
    (I once did it in post lol)

    timecode?

    • @brandnewextragood
      @brandnewextragood  11 месяцев назад +1

      Unfortunately this setup isn’t recording timecode, because I wanted the audio on the phone and proxy files to be free of beeps and boops for non-nerds to edit. Syncing it all by waveform was very easy though - just remember to hit record on the receiver.
