  • Took a trip out to Shired Island, FL and faced some really tough conditions most of the day. We had an east wind with gusts up to 20-25 mph and that pushed really pushed the water out with the falling tide. We were able to fish some deeper holes and put some good fish in the boat. Stick around to the end of the video for the tactics we used to catch fish in these tough conditions. Looks like Fishbone Creek. First fished there in the 1960s with my father when I was very young. Always been a great red Creek. You have motivated to go fish some memories. Enjoyed it.

You guys use depth finder to find holes or by sight on low tide?

Both! When I’m going through a new area I’ll mark deep holes on my depthfinder to come back and fish. During low tide I like to look around and see which areas will have the most current flow and hit those holes when it’s really low.
