Nagasaki is a port town founded in 1571 as a trading port for Nanban trade with Portugal. Even during the isolation period of the Edo Tokugawa shogunate, Nagasaki was the only trading port that allowed trade with the Netherlands and China, and only Nagasaki Port was open to foreign countries. During the seclusion period, a foreign settlement was built on Dejima, and it became the gateway to Western culture. Nagasaki is a city that has been in contact with foreign countries for a long time, unlike other cities where Western culture entered after the Meiji Restoration. In the Meiji era, it lost its monopoly position, but Mitsubishi shipyard was established and it developed as a modern industrial city. An atomic bomb was dropped on August 9, 1945, at the end of World War II, and the town was reduced to ruins. However, the topography of Hiroshima is very different from that of Hiroshima, where another atomic bomb was dropped.
Most of the land in Nagasaki, which is suitable for harbors with deep water near the land and for shipbuilding, has little flat land and steep slopes, and many of the residential areas are formed on these slopes. This time, I walked from Narutaki to Nishiyama Dam, mainly in the Katafuchi district on the east side of the Nishiyama River, a tributary of the Nakashima River. 予習のために事前に色々な方の動画を見ましたが、観光エリアの紹介は当然ながらどなたも一緒なので初めて来たのに知っている場所ばかりでした^^

貴殿の動画で新しい旅の楽しみ方を知り、少し真似たいと思いました。
今日はレンタカーで佐世保・波佐見を回ったのですが、最後に鬼木の棚田という所へ行きました。
運転には比較的自信があるのですが、棚田の展望へ向かう道が凄かった。
狭さ(細さ)・カーブ・高低差と、久しぶりにドキドキするような道でした。
当然ながら誰もいませんでしたが、印象深い場所となりました。
これから過去動画を順に楽しませてもらいます。

長崎は原爆被害者慰霊のために訪れたかった場所でした。
さらに地元のチャンポンはやはりリンガーハットより美味いことも分かり、良い旅ができました。
