I'm sorry but I have to say you are bad at video editing and carpentry.

You forgot to mention that I’m bad at mini painting, bad at terrain building, and bad at crafting.

Good job! I learned quite a bit for making my own cutter.

Put a couple more angle brackets out by the end of the handle so the handle will come down between them to prevent any side to side action. Hope that makes sense.

A bit of a commentary would not have gone amiss, just to make it slightly more interesting!

Thats a great idea, it would be cheaper than buying a chopper! I've priced em at $30 or more. My only suggestion would be using hardwood for the handle also drilling out the razor blade set screws and putting bolts bcs over time those tap screw threads will wear out and the blade will be loose! I've been trying to figure out a way to make my own and those L brackets seem to do the job as far as a solid pivot point! Nice job especially withe spring, safety strap and the gutter groove!

Kevin Brister great suggestion! I’m thinking of changing the type of blade to the old box cutter type too. The ones with the thick band at the top, sans bevel. I’ll likely do that when I change the handle, per your suggestion! Thanks!!

Im in the process of designing and building a 1:25 scale model house. Tools are too exspensive to buy so I look for diy videos and come up with my own ideas. The 1:25 scale works well with all my model cars!lol

If you figure out the miter swivel I would love to see it!

You're not really good at this...carpentry is not your thing at all. and wood on wood won't last very long...
