@@huntercraig993 Yes! And this one at 7:20 is called "Every Day Comes and Goes"... I have an original copy of the album and these names are not there... I never understood these names...
@@maurilo.rezende Remember on the Paranoid album how they have (Lukes Wall) after War Pigs and (Jack The Stripper) after Fairies Wear Boots? I always wondered what the heck those meant and it turns out they didn't mean anything, the record label put them on for some strange reason. The band were perplexed over what the reason was. I suppose "Every Day Comes and Goes" after Under The Sun makes a bit more sense considering it's in the lyrics and that's what happens with the sun and even "The Straightener" after Wheels of Confusion sort of makes sense to a degree(we're reaching now) but I have no idea why Lukes Wall and Jack The Stripper are there lol.
This song sounds SO KILLER when it's shown like this. Makes the actual song so awesome when you go back once you see how it's played. Such a freaking great video, thanks!
Hey bro.. Dude, you are fucking awesome.. Your tutorial vids have opened doors for me that have hitherto been locked tighter than a preachers ass... Your like my big brother with this shit, and im 25 years your senior... Thanks kid.
Dude THANK YOU. Every time I want to learn a cool song… you happen to have a video on how to play it. Even the songs that aren’t super popular! Hendrix, SRV, Freddie King, Sabbath.. we definetly have the same taste in music. I’m definitely going to donate. Keep the awesome content coming dude and thanks again🤘
I search tutorials for my favorite songs and every time my boy Alex shows up in the results. Great tutorials and great songs, keep up the great work! THANKS!
Dude you did and amazing job on this lesson. Your set up has you sounding just like the record... I enjoyed it so much I have to send you a little something. Please send me your info.
Great job I liked your slayer south of haven video also. The main riff played on the 9 th fret is actually down on 4 and 7 and 4/5 pull off. If you watch his live video that’s were Toni is playing it.
I guess when it comes to the right way or wrong way to play something, always look to see how the artist does it. However, this way seems to have better flow.
Excellent run through. Quite some changes regarding riffs in this one. A great song and many thanks for showing all the stuff that's going one here. Btw, you have a killer guitar tone here.
Hmm, I see people tuning their guitars in C# for these Black Sabbath songs. But I do a drop C# tuning, basically you tune your guitar down to E flat and then tune the bottom E string to C#. Works for me anyways.
@@pjamesvee2869 There are few videos of him playing it but you can clearly see his hand anchored at the 4th fret playing the E major chord playing the trill on the 4th string . It's the Iommi E chord he uses all the time. I learned it from the record 30 years ago !!! ..not RUclips .I am not being critical .. just stating fact ..use your ears !
Whenever I play, the Low E is so dominant that the other notes I can’t hear. I have an Epiphone SG and Boss Katana MKll. Is it the equipment or the settings on the amp? Any recommendations on what to lower or increase?
Reduce the gain, sit farther away from the amp, try to mute the low E just after you switch to the next note or buy a nose gate pedal/updgrade your pickups
7:20 is the baddest riff there ever was or will be! Such a dynamic transition/intro to solo, Tony's riff/solo writing is just genius!
This and the part in the end of "Wheels of Confusion" are the bests... Kinda hidden both
Foghorn Nosehorn Amen mate. Rediscovered today and time to learn. Epic
@@maurilo.rezende I think they call that the straightener

Beautiful! I love this song! You mr, explain very well, especially for very beginners as me.
Great version. I see a lot of people play this wrong. Right on.

First saw this song in a lizard king video and loved it since
bilal ashraf it was braydon.
7:20 convinced me to learn it
please do the solos!
Are we sure the “Everyday Comes and Goes” riff isn’t played all on the lowest string as usually done by Iommi?????
Nice job, but are you going to record a lesson for the solo, too?
I remember when vol 4 was brand new !
Awesome! So much fun!
thanx alex you're the best man

Iommi doesn't play it like that. He plays it using the inverted e chord structure at the 4th fret position .

is it strange I headbang to the riff and can imagine the drums playing
Is the bottom e c sharp and the rest of the strings standard tuning?
Vernon Robinson No, not standard tuning. The whole guitar is tuned 1 & 1/2 steps down.
C#, F#, B, E, G#, C#

hello happy day, and the solo???
Did you ever record the solos to this? Thx
3:30 tough scale run
Custard pie-Lez zepellin pls :((
You are playing the song correctly but the tablature is incorrect.
My god this guy is hot AF
Playing the verse riff at wrong part of neck completely in an utterly awkward way that requires a totally unneeded jump to hit the scale run.
Its much harder for a beginner at least to play it in second position at that tempo
@@scifiordie just tune down to C#
What guitar is that?
Pretty sure it’s Gibson les Paul studio
