- This episode we're taking a crack at the classic tavern table. We're building the table, bowls, utensils, and a goblet. So grab you hotglue gun, popsicle sticks and turn up the volume.

The oaks we have in England have MUCH bigger acorns than yours!
Do you make doll furniture for a living? Detail is incredible! I'm really going to have to step up my game...
Always fun to see a new take on a classic :)
The Crafting Muse thanks muse.
I wouldve kept the natural color of the acorns after you sanded them just give them a brush over with some wood oil or mineral oil to bring out their natural wood look. And rather than using hot glue for your soup. You could used 2 part epoxy glue with some paint or oil dye to color it and when it dries itll look like tomato soup, pea soup or potato soup depending on what color you use.
Other than that I love the build.
Good tip for candles are the spikey bits on the little stands/holders you get for candles (the irony) on cakes, they taper nicely like the real thing.
Bongo Bill thanks
Love the whole tavern series and this table tutorial is great. I have a jar of acorn caps waiting to be turned into bowls and braziers, so thanks for the advice on how to make them look so much better. The plates, goblets, utensils and candles are so simple in concept, but look great in execution. Thanks for sharing your efforts.
Thanks for all the feedback. That’s makes the vids worth doing knowing they are helping others!
Чудесно! Немного грубовато, но результат - загляденье. Лайк!
Are you SERIOUS? Your table is facing the wrong fucking way, LMAO. Unsubscribed!
Bashkim Alija are you left handed?
Nah mate i was just trolling, Keep up the good work. I wasnt subscribed anyway. But now i will :)
Bashkim Alija haha well thanks. Glad your enjoying them
Wow, some great ideas and methods here. I almost skipped it because I have seen a lot of tavern table build videos in the past, but I'm glad I watched this. So many cool ideas. Using the beads for the table legs really gives a nice look, instead of the usual sticks. The acorn tops for bowls, hot glue for the steak and fork tip, pen tube for candles, and pen part for goblet, man, just genius. Very cool.
Robert Spears thanks man! thats really really awesome I almost didn't even make one on the table because it was done so much but I figured making the things on top of the table is what most people need to help with I'm glad decided to watch it anyway! Hope it helps.
This is amazing!! It's super funny I use acorn caps for bowls too!! Great video, keep making videos like this man, Congratulations!!!
Thank you very much!!! I’m in the process of editing two videos to launch my second season so I hope you will enjoy those as well. I love using items from nature in my crafts and the acorn tops are just perfect for bowls and plates, super neat that you use them as well for the same things.
Nicely done. Thanks for the video.
Quassi's Bell Tower thanks that mean a lot coming for you and your crafting skills!
Very impressed. How about a kitchen for the tavern. You know the counter top, stone oven, wood stove maybe, or the pantry for the dry goods.
Sure thing. I’ll add it to the list. I have a video in the works steady but I’ll make some of this stuff next
Amazing work was done on this miniature table!!! Makes me glad that I am subscribed to your channel ;)
I posted this on a group I am in on Facebook, called 1st Edition Advanced Dungeons & Dragons. Cheers!
Doodle OUT thanks man glad you enjoyed it appreciate you subscribing
Your great at this, keep it up. I look forward to seeing your videos.
Great job! Will you be doing more videos like this soon?
Best Access Doors yes I will in fact I'm in the process of recording a new vid right now. Should be out later tonight
I'm amazed you glue it all down then paint it you've a very steady hand sir. Going through a lot of your vids now like how you craft very nice job.
Chris P. Bacon thanks man that mean a lot! I love the tavern build as you can tell.
@@RollforDamageRFD You do a lot of very original builds. Even when doing very common stuff you come up with very unique ways to build. Always like learning new ways to do things.
Have you ever seen Landvaettr's Lair? Think you would enjoy his channel. You both really use some interesting building techniques to make some amazing stuff.
YeAh I’m a long time fan of Landvattre’s. His work is amazingly detailed and beautiful.
Do you have a painted mini to use for scale? Good crafting ideas btw.
I do now but at the time I didn’t paint my minis because I was terrible at it. I’ve come along way now:)
what color of brown did you use on the table on top of the black
Barbara Pannell moccasin brown plaid
I liked The techniques you used here... two thumbs up
Thank you. The table is one of my favorite pieces.
What could you use instead of acorn caps
928BLUE GAMES I’ve used small buttons, playdoh, cork and even hot glue as bowls. For the hot glue you would need to place a small amount of glue over a small bead or B.B. on parchment paper then remove it once dry and turn over to have a bowl.
Awsome
what paint u use to paint them all black first?
Apple Barrel Brand mat black. Any cheap brand will work great.
@@RollforDamageRFD thanks mate! U just made my day
Andrea Risq glad to help!!
love the acorn bowls
Thanks!
Great vid! Thank you :)
Sebastien Desautels thanks for watching glad you enjoyed
