They are Terns. The Seabird Sanctuary in Redington Beach closes off part of the beach during Tern hatching time. You can walk by and see all the little babies and then as time goes by watch the mother birds teach the babies how to fly and feed.

They are easy to clean with overnight bleach bath. don't forget the higher wrack line. 21.42 all around are chestnut turbans!!! You are killing me, boo hoo The black-brown striped Lightening whelks are male the lighter ones are female. I hope you have the bug a little for shells.

Always glad to see u SO appreciative of nature and life! Your parents did a great job!
Being you're a musician, I had an idea/request for you?
It's more in my line of life as a Psychic Medium (sacred geometry/quantum physics), but music isn't my gift, and in NY, I dont have access to many sun dried patterned shells!
I was wondering if you'd consider taking a shell with one of the 'dotted' patterns, translating it's pattern into musical notes you see, and seeing what kind of song it makes?
Everything in nature has messages. Each shell is similar, but has unique patterns for a reason, like our fingerprints, or zebra stripes.
Shells are also a living 'being', not just what ends up housed inside them. They repair themselves in many cases and are tiny to giant from age as they grow. There's not too much info on that process, in fact!
I hope u consider the music idea and play a few notes in a video of what you find!
And if ever you want 1 of my unique readings, I'd do a remote one free for you , Natalie, or a family member!
Regardless, keep being you and grateful!
You honor the universe and mom every time you do! 🙏

Would love to collaborate sometime, and also today we went to Fort DeSoto and I found a shell that doesn't belong. Some sort of Volute shell, but looks like they're only found in Malaysia, Indonesia, etc. so it's a bit of a mystery. Do you have a good email or way to send photos to you?

Kyle, I wish I would have known you guys were coming to my beach! I walk to the end almost every morning there in the winter. Summer about 3 times a week (cycle more then). HISP is a nature paradise and I feel so blessed to live near it. Good for you - you made it to the end, explored the bay side at the end and middle, and highlighted some great shells! Sometimes at the north end, it's just blissful solitude. On good days there will be great shells, but EVERY day there are birds of all kinds and the peaceful sound of the surf. This video was a big surprise and I'm so happy you did it! It took me forever to get Sharmon from SWF Beach Life channel up here from Ft Myers to video HISP. She liked it so well, she came up again a couple months ago. Would love to meet you if you come again!

Yoooo, being in Florida for two years now, I’ve always been excited about finding gorgeous shells on the beach. But you don’t see a lot of what you found here on the East Coast of Florida. Hell, you don’t ever find intact sand dollars, let alone Fighting Conchs. Find more live ones than empty ones. But I’m jealous you two found an ORANGE SCALLOP!! I’m nuts about Scallop shells, because growing up in New Jersey they were a rare find up there. Here they’re a little easier to find, but they display more whites and reds instead of oranges. But keep up the amazing finds! Always a joy to see you two having a blast together doing what you love!

Hey Kyle I don't know if you're aware of this or not, but starfish can only survive 3 to 5 minutes out of water. They're not supposed to be on the shore like that. So, if you see one beach, and it's still alive, throw it into deeper water. Otherwise the seagulls will kill it and eat it, if being out in the air doesn't kill it first.

Oh, how lovely to see you, Kyle, with the beautiful Natalie again, who,by the way, looks great in pink. Also, I love shells! It's great to see you both shell hunting for a change.

The big cockles make great bowls to display tiny shells!

i'm definitely going here this summer. hopefully there aren't any guns swimming around, they're so dangerous and i'm terrified of them. they come to life and shoot people all the time and it's really scary so now i'm going to cry.

Really enjoyed the sheel hunting. Used to live in homestead. We were on the beach and at the keys all the time. Thank you so much for the new adventures 😊

Dip the fighting conch shell in acid it will take the calcium build up off.😊

i agree the pen shell bits are so pretty, i have a set of earrings made out of one and they are light enough to not hurt when i wear them. Great shelling place for sure! i've visited other beaches but never have been to HoneyMoon beach, thanks for taking us along!
