Beautiful collection! I used to travel a lot in Asia, Indian Ocean, South Pacific, tropical Antlantic, Red Sea, Mediterranian. Worked as a Scuba Instructor and lived in the Philippines and the Dominican Republic. Found and collected many, many Sea shells, corals, sea urchins etc. Gave almost all of them away to friends, family members, kids and don't have so many left anymore. But I still love to find them and go shelling whenever I travel
I've collected all my life and it makes me so happy to see someone as crazy about shells as I am....ever been to Sanibel after cold front ?..It's so crazy I moved from Texas to Florida because the shells are truly Magnificent....loved your video...never stop collecting...shells are so few compared to 71 years ago...❤
Wow what a diverse collection. The Nautilus shells are gorgeous. Love that you’ve taken your shelling to this level - happy for you and your wife. You will enjoy for years to come. I’ve just discovered how fun it is to collect shells - it’s a wholesome hobby/ what beauty!
The pearlized Nautilus and paper Nautilus are my favorites. It's so hard to choose favorites because they're beautiful in unique ways. The corals are gorgeous. You have a fabulous collection!
I’ve always wanted to live in Australia. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE your collection. I lived on the water for at least a Century and never collected anything and now that I’m away from water I want everything.
First time viewing your channel. You have an amazing collection. Are you a long time collector? You seem quite knowledgeable about them. In northern ontario Canada there's not much to collect, so I appreciate seeing your lovely collection, and I admit, I'm a bit jealous. Thanks for showing them.
You have an absolutely amazing collection! I especially like your top finds table and the coral. The booty hole coral made me crack up. Lol! I was sorry to hear that your display shelf broke. I'm so glad you didn't lose any shells! Thanks for taking the time to show us your collection! :-)
this is so cool! when i was younger my dad and i would collect shells all over CA, our best find was a massive abalone shell bigger than my hand we found in northern CA!
the large white murex at 9:13 is a Siratus alabater or alabaster murex. The frilly one at the front with the light purple spines at 9:16 is a Chicoreus palmarosae or rose branch murex, most likely from Thailand, since the phillipine ones usually don´t develop the pink/purple spines. The Murex found in Japan at 9:31 could possibly be a Chicoreus saulii
Dude u r so young & have such a huge collection. U will have 2 have a house when u get 2 b my age 2 keep them all. Must admit am very envious but loved watching u go thru ur amazing collection. Keep on collecting & bet u cud open a sea shell museum & start charging a lil bit so u can buy more lol(: Happy shelling b careful beach combing... 🐚 🐚 🐚 🐚 🐚 🐚 🐚
Have you ever seen where people hammer metal rods into the beach sand right before lightning storms? It causes the lightning to strike to rods and it makes one of a kind glass sculptures. They are amazing. Talking about sculptures I know you are only beach themed items but I do know you have some of the largest ant piles there or so I think I heard that. Anyway a man smelts aluminum and pours the molten metal into the top of an ant bed and it makes awesome one of a kind sculptures also. But I thought if you done the beach project they would look awesome in your display room.

Can you suggest a good book on shells with pictures so that I can match up what I have?? I've loved them for many years and have had a lot of the ones you have. I don't have any of the Lg Conch shells but I want to add some. I had so many different ones and sizes of them because I grew up in Hawaii and brought my most favorite ones when I moved to San Diego in 1979. Anyway, if you could recommend a good book on shells to me with pictures of the shells so I know what to look for and also I'll be sharing it with my little grandson who just turned 8 y.o. in January. He loves his shells and wants a big one that he can blow into and it has a beautiful sounding call that the Native Hawaiians used to call in their people for supper, like the Pioneers used their dinner bells for!! I'm trying to get one for him soon as a late birthday gift. The book will be a good addition to the shell collection. Thank you for any help.

The Murex found in Japan at 9:31 could possibly be a Chicoreus saulii
And the shell on the bottom left in your random section should be a Drupa morum, so you could put that with your other Murexes

I own a few seashells. I want you to tell me how to keep them shiny and shiny. Do you use a specific paint?
Are these sourced when the creatures are dead or taken from the sea and killed? Particularly I’m thinking about the coral and sea urchins?
Great collection. How do you clean them up?
Really appreciate your sharing of the collection. I do hope u tag them all.
