correct!!! I lost 30 lbs, walk 4-6 miles per day, changed my diet, drink hibiscus tea, take, magnesium and eat beets. Now blood pressure is elevated again. My advice...turn off social media and news. I'm proof you can do everything right but if you are stressed forget it.Your BP will be elevated.

I agree with everything you have said on your list, I've discovering the hard way over the last few years by researching anywhere I could find the correct information. It's has been a long hard journey for me anyway, I've been adding more of these methods as I learn them, thankfully I've lasted this long. My blood pressure can be as high as 220/120 and I could get it lowered day or night 24/7. Today is the first time I've seen the squeeze technique, I'm after eating a beetroot now I'm going for a jog. I'm now almost 58yo,I've had super high blood pressure for at least these last 20 years, I've only really addressed it for about the last 6 by natural lifestyle changes, it is still a daily battle but I consider the better lifestyle better than taking BP lowering medication, I believe our bodies have hundreds of self regulating controls just like a thermostatic controller in your house, If we override any of these it will mask the true cause of the imbalance that causes the blood pressure in the first place, it is better to address the cause if you can find it and even if you can't it's still necessary to life a healthy lifestyle to reduce all cause mortality.

Don't forget about hibiscus tea if you don't like beet juice. Hibiscus tea, or the Mexican Jamaica drink (like the tea only sweetened), reduce blood pressure significantly, and tastes a whole lot better than beet juice. Not that beet juice tastes bad because it really doesn't, but Hibiscus tastes a lot better. And you get a large bag of dried Hibiscus flowers at any Mexican grocery store for cheap, and it makes a LOT of tea or Jamaica drink.

@@JohnGone-wl8uo You are right. Also stress is a big contributor to high blood pressure. Waste accumulated in the body due to constipation is also. Sludge in the bloodstream due to inadequate hydration (water intake). Drink at least 8-8oz cups of water daily. Begin the day with two cups of water in which you squeeze half of a fresh lemon and 1/8 teaspoon Celtic gray salt or Himalayan pink salt available from a health food store or whole foods market. Also add ground cayenne pepper, as much as you can tolerate and I often add turmeric powder too and magnesium powder. Take this first thing. Wait for at least an hour before taking any medications to prevent interactions.
Increase vegetable consumption, both the amount and kinds. This will, help to provide needed nutrients that help with blood pressure control. Potassium rich foods especially, and all electrolyte foods. Whole grains like brown rice, millet, quinoa etc.
Provide variety and good nutrients. Nuts and seeds, not in large quantities at any one time are good too, especially almonds, English walnuts, pecans, Brazil nuts, and sesame seeds, flax seeds, pumpkin seeds, especially good for zinc which the body must have. Vitamin D-3 plus Vitamin K-2 supplements are necessary. Purchase from a health food store.
Continue your exercise out doors. Here you also get exposure to sunshine for Vitamin D also and fresh air so needed to vitalize the blood. Regular, adequate amount of nightly sleep is very important to stabilizing good blood pressure. Cultivate a merry, rejoicing heart. Be thankful. Trust in God to help you in your weakness. He wants you to have good health and will help you achieve it.The more of these factors you implement, the better will be your results. Blessings to you.

Add breathing as well as to lower blood pressure, 4,7, 8 principles. 4 seconds inhaling from the nose, 7 seconds keep inside, 8 seconds exhaling from the mouth everything sitting comfortably. 5 breaths, about five times a day or more will lower diastolic blood pressure up to 10 points right away and as a result, the Systolic will be lower too because the limbic system is reset.

I’ve tried many things with little change, I regularly exercise, take beet supplement (and several others). I’ve tried the grip and breathing and already regularly exercise; however, when I reduced my caffeine intake I started to notice a significant change. Previously I had two cups of coffee in the morning and a 120mg caffeinated drink in the afternoon. I’ve reduced that to drinking decaf coffee and no caffeine in the afternoon. Systolic came down ~15 points and diastolic came down about ~ 10 points. During this time I’ve lost a little weight (5-10 pounds), eating more fish and less pork (sausage and bacon), which have likely contributed to the reduction.

Had a major seizure in 1997 and it destroyed me. Have had BP up and down (to the point where I faint) for years. Doctors don't know how to help me anymore for the BP meds do not work. I can go from fainting to 200+ in seconds. It has happened in the hospital, doctors' offices, and even though they feel sorry and try to help, they have run out of meds to give me. (I have lost count of how many I have tried.)
Belief in the Lord Jesus Christ has stopped me from doing a stupidity. Life is too precious to throw it in the garbage.
Therefore, I have been trying to take care of it on my own. At around 8pm today 3/24/22, BP was 208/127/81 (it comes without warning and comes with #2, nausea, dizziness [have to hold to walls or I will fall], burping, shaking inside, etc.), and then I am exhausted to the point I cannot do anything. I thought I was going to have to go to the hospital.... again.
Then started searching in YT about how to lower BP and came upon your video.
I had some canned beets and took like a quarter cup of the juice and then started squeezing a towel. As I am writing this it is 169/108/72 (It took about 15 minutes from when I took the beet juice).
Thank you, thank you for sharing this information.

It is normal that in the medical office they always find the pressure of the high people because it is convenient for them to prescribe drugs for life, they represent the economic interests of the big pharmacies and many some people know this and distrust the doctors and it is normal To raise the pressure while we are in the doctor's office, because we feel mistrust of them, or sometimes some doctors try to make their patients sick by suggesting and manipulating them. The drug business is a great medical corruption.

Staying away from negative, agitated people does a world of good, because I haven’t found an empathic shield as of yet. Sad, but there are a lot of angry people out in the world right now. My grandmother had H/B and had a stroke where she bled through her eyes ears and nose to let off the pressure. After a half an hour she got up off the floor cleaned herself up and went back to cleaning the house. But that’s women from the old country. She was 90 at the time. My mother would quip, she had H/B till she stopped taking the meds and it went down, now I’m the next contestant on, who’s got H/B.

Beet juice and beets in general! I ate a bag of beet chips the other day and later on had checked my blood pressure and was shocked to see it down by 20 points. I wasn't sure why it was so much lower but after reviewing what I ate that day the only thing I did differently was eat that bag of chips.
I do like the 20 minute walk as a natural way to reduce BP.

I really like these suggestions. I don't want to go on meds so I'm scouting the internet for options. Thank you!

Eating a pomegranate or drinking pomegranate juice will also lower your blood pressure. Spinach, garlic, dark chocolate can also help.
