This is probally the best and most simple way of showing how to build a flying machine for a bamboo farm. Straight up no intro, no BS, too the point. I wish I found you sooner my guy. Thank you
if youre on bedrock it wont work, i made a design for a bedrock mutli directional flying machine, you need to havr 2 sets of pistons and 1 set of observers, 1st set of pistons push and pull fowards 2nd set does the oposite, at the end and beginings you'd use pistons to swap observers between sets
If you watch the video carefully, the returns are not on the same line of blocks - they aren't in line with each other. The pistons are offset, so are the observers. So when you build your returns, make sure you've got them positioned correctly because that's what was breaking my flying machine. Mine launched just fine, but because the return wasn't positioned to "catch" the correct observer, my sticky piston ended up underneath the return, starting that weird back and forth nonsense. TL;DR: If your machine doesn't work, you haven't accurately copied this tutorial. The returns are meant to face into the observers. This is a java not bedrock flying machine.
i built a rail system so that it picks up the blocks in a nice fashon and built and extrior for it because the bamboo would fly off of the slime blocks really far so keep this in mind!!! but the farm works amazingly!!
I've been working on this thing for literally hours and I cannot get it to work. It will work one direction, then come back and stop. Did a recent update kill this design?
Same, it bounces back and forth between the same few rows for the most part. Everything is done like in the video. I'm on bedrock, assuming that's the problem. [Edit] Ended up using a different flying machine, but later found out I originally built this to fly over a chunk boarder? Not sure if maybe that's what was wrong, but yeah, never got it to work sadly. :(
Hey guys yea on bedrock flying machines you dont use 2 sticky pistons u use ONE sticky one REGULAR piston thesticky is the one that is facing backwards while the normal piston extends forward otherwise u get the back and forth thing
Make sure the obsidian bit is on the right block. The two obsidian stoppers aren't in line with each other. They both have to be in line with their observers
this is a bit shitty better one is when the you have an observer spotting when the height of bamboo gets to a certain point then sends the machine off. with it going constantly the rates of bamboo tanks.
For those curious: you can have up to 9 slime blocks on both sides if you want to make the flying machine wider.
Only?
@@FLKS-3310yeah
Still works??? and other wise do you know how to fix it???

Fr
Can confirm this works on Java 1.20.2 Had to add a lever on both sides so I could control when to run the machine. Thank you for the simple build!
You are welcome
Almost perfect, just need to add the width value for those that must build in in a restrected place ^^
Thank you yeah I should have added that but you can make it a bit smaller by removing slime from the sides.
Thankyou so much, I've been trying to build the flying machine and it worked!
You are welcome
My flying machine is just going forward and backward stupidly 😢 it cant reach to the end of the stopper. How to fix tht?

Xua yur in bedrock edition

works in 1.20.6 btw!
Thanks for the farm but I recommend that you leave more time to see the items
Thanks for the advice
finally my sword can rest
thanks you it's easy to understand and there is no BS
Quick and easy! Love it!
mine is weird it goes for a few blocks and for some reason just turns around and goes back where it came from without me even doing anything to it
Bro same
They still haventn fixed
It's because you're in bedrock not Java
Oh is there a bedrock version for this?
I've been working on this thing for literally hours and I cannot get it to work. It will work one direction, then come back and stop. Did a recent update kill this design?
I added a lever to the side of the obsidian block at the end where the machine stops. Basically have a lever on each side. This worked for me.
mine wont even fly XD one of the pistons keeps glitching out XD
slow down there buddy. could hardly follow this. What if I have a farm already and am building a harvester afterwards? what direction do I take?
The glass marks the sides of your farm.
Slow down there speedy. Not everyone is as good at redstone as you.
You don't need to rush through this like a maniac :) Especially when it is supposed to be a tutorial.
new suscriber. nice tutorial!
can you do one for shulker loader?
Will do that
Do you really need obsidian? or is there another block?
Any unmovable block
Could you go a little bit slower next time
Will do
you can slow the video down yourself also, the voice gets weird though...
NO
Fr what is this speedrun tutorials lmao
i cant place the observers right @The Master Miner
Can i use honey blocks instead of slime?
Yes, you can try it in creative mode if youre not sure
Great tutorial and great build, very helpful, saving for later
Thank you
Is there a way to get in touch with you? I really liked your videos
I will create a discord soon
Put block here here here over there and poof! Flying machine super easy
Is there any way to add a storage system??
All help will be appreciated
Underneath use a hopper minecart
Or hopper with mud instead of dirt
Can hopper mine carts pick up blocks underneath a bock on bedrock?
Yes they can!
Whenever i Try it it keeps going forward and back

@@deputytorrez950 I'll try this as soon as I get on. You're a legend.
@@deputytorrez950i did the but when it gets to the other end, it wont return to the original spot

can anyone tell me how to add the collection system, as i built this on an economy serveer and the items despawn after 10 secs of dropping
I forgot to tell you i rlly like your voice
Thank you
Great presentation of a classic
works in 1.20.4

He has the lever so he can turn it off, then turn it back on when the bamboo reaches the desired height
Can I use honey blocks instead slime is hard to find
You Can Go in the Trail Chambers there are slime spawners
Does this work in bedrock?

I made this on bedrock but it was lagging

Not really, It goes back and forth one or two blocks and frequently doesn't go to the other side at all(
so simple ty

Do it work for bedrock
Bedrock?

Does this work in bedrock?
😂😂😂😂 yes
I've built it and it doesn't fly consistently in one direction. It stutters back and forth between a few rows then returns to where it started.
My machine just plays tug of war with itself
