Michael Cohen pleaded guilty to campaign related charges. That were essentially not existent, so he wouldn’t be charged with his more serious crimes tax evasion. This is common knowledge outside of MSNBC.
Every single MAGA know 100% he guilty of everything he is accused of by prosecutors... They just don't want him to be punished for it.
Not one of Trumps cases is being argued about innocence, it's being argued about immunity.

Cohen went to prison because ultimately it was HIS funds that paid off this story. As for Trump using shady methods to pay him back, Cohen chose to use his own funds. Trump can easily slide on this because he didn't have direct contact with the other sides lawyers or handing over money. I think he is knee deep in putting Cohen under the bus.
