NIGHTMAAAAARE!!!!
Noooo. Not anymore. Such a growing band. ❤️
Hi, I have a suggestion for you to react to. Legendary by Skillet.
Captain Boromir One does not simply walk into Skillet! 😉
@@ChemicalReactions LOL
@@ChemicalReactions you should react to :
*"Five Finger Death Punch - wrong side of heaven"*
This is amazing modern rock songs
Never understood the hate for M. Shadows' voice. He has amazing range and the perfect blend of rasp coupled with clean vocals. He is a fantastic singer.
Jordon Sibell
Wait there was hate for his voice?
Jordon Sibell It’s because he has a nasal voice that some people don’t like it
Who in the hellllllll could ever hate M. Shadows voice!!!!! 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
dad focuss the music and teen eating 🤤😆
Get Juliette to react to the music video for A Little Piece Of Heaven by Avenged Sevenfold! It will give her nightmares for months!
Lol, your a bad person, man
You want to give her nightmares...anything Slipknot will do
@@kyeanletofsky3316 No I just have a twisted sense of humour!
@@Jon-et5uu Especially the music video for The Devil In I! That is one sick twisted film clip!
totally! The uncensored middle finger at the end is totally okay to watch too! HAHAHA
The drummer in the nightmare song is mike portnoy (dream theater)..
Try another song by avenged sevenfold for the next video :
Beast and the harlot
Bat country
Second heartbeat
A little piece of heaven
M.I.A
Almost easy
Scream
Buried alive
Afterlife live in LBC
Critical acclaim live in LBC
Unholy confessions
God hates us live rock am ring 2011. Thanks, have a nice day guys:)
Ok, so Portnoy had already taken over for that album? I don't think he ever made it as an official member with the whole PR NIGHTMAAAARE!
@@ChemicalReactions yes sure. The rev died in 2009 and the nightmare album released 27 july 2010. At that time mike portnoy had finished his contract with (dream theater).. And when making or recording the album nightmare, mike portnoy has become a member of avenged sevenfold. Portnoy contract is indeed not so long with avenged sevenfold. And then july 15 2013 the album hail to the king released, and in the album hail to the king arin ilejay comes in to replace mike portnoy whose contract has been used up with avenged sevenfold. And 2015 arin declared to quit from avenged sevenfold, and his position was replaced by brooke wackerman ex drummer (bad religion)..
And the 8th album "tha stage" has been made with brooke, and brooke is still with avenged sevenfold until this time.. And the album "the stage" released on october 28 2016..
Maybe that's all i can say and sorry if my english is wrong. And please don't judge me if i'm wrong about avenged sevenfold history😁😂😅
@@ChemicalReactions Mike Portnoy was only for this album. The Rev had already written the drum parts before his passing but Portnoy did his best to play the parts as The Rev had written them. I saw Avenged Sevenfold in june of 2011 on the Nightmare tour and already then Portnoy had left the band
SirEdward that’s what I remembered. That it was a very short tenure and that he never made it as an official band member.
@@ChemicalReactions Yes, he played the first gigs after the album came out in 2010 but he was always referred to as a session member, never a full time member. Portnoy wanted Dream Theater to take a break while he was playing with Sevenfold (said he was only going through the emotions when playing with Dream Theater at the time) but the rest of Dream Theater didn't want to do that so he said he would quit. After he was asked to leave Sevenfold for a more permanent drummer he wanted to rejoin Dream Theater but it was already too late since the band already had auditioned few drummers and picked a permanent drummer instead of Portnoy and that was Mike Mangini.
avenged sevenfold - god hates us live at rock am ring 2011!
Suicideinsilence I’ve literally gone to most of these reactors pages and suggested this video .. no luck yet! 😕
@@bryanurbina21 Ikr! It's probably their best live performance ever, Shadows sounds so badass

So Far Away - Avenged Sevenfold
official music video
That song is a tribute to The Rev
The video was inspired by Jacobs Ladder. The Revs(Their Drummer/Best Friend/Brother who had pass while in the early stage of the album) favorite movie.
I saw them in Iraq, as a deployed soldier, this album "Nightmare" and the self titled "Avenged Sevenfold" help me the stress and pressure. They have complete my respect.
Mike Portnoy played the drums on the entire Nightmare record and tour after he left dream theater fyi
Portnoy should have been the full time drummer after Nightmare. He’s a lot like the Rev
@@djentyman4002 I heard he was a rough band mate and didn't really fit with the rest of the crew. I think we all know about Portnoy's healthy ego!
ChemicalReactions! Oh yeah that’s for sure. But he played so well with A7X. What could have been ehh?
Scotty W they landed pretty well with Brooks though. Solid drummer
ChemicalReactions! I do like Brooks a lot. Even Arin was a solid drummer
Can't wake up in sweat... cause it ain't over yet... *crunch* *crunch* *crunch* *crunch*
Jimmy wrote the drum part for Nightmare, but it was recorded in studio by Jay, the guy that replaced him eventually and during the tour it was played by Mike Portney. The drum set at the end was Jimmy's set.
Now, may I suggest: Amorphis - Death of a King ☺
Towards and Against
Joulu Pukki that's one hella request
TÄMÄ!! THIS!
FUUUUUUUUUCK YEAH
Edit: I love the gates custom schecter , even though I can't play it as good as the man himself lol
Edit 2: he had an enlarged heart and knew he wouldn't live long
Mike Portnoy recorded the drums on this. The Rev had already written the part though. I've seen them twice & met them once. They put on an amazing show!
Awesome!
The Rev was actually there filming the video with them. There is a video where they say that he was there and doing the video but died before they finished it.
Nice, thx for this reaction... And "bon appétit"! 😁
Merci!
React to "the stage" by avenged sevenfold
Love your reactions, but there is just something about somebody eating while reacting to a video I don't like lol. 😊
This comment should be pinned at the top. So true!
Fav band EVERRRR
The Rev died in 2009, this was a tribute album to him from 2010, some of the songs were already written/recorded by The Rev. There's even some of his backpack vocals on a few songs on the album.
This Means War and Gunslinger are great Avenged sevenfold songs as well imo.
Please react to The Stage by them! He wrote the drums for the album, except for So Far Away (but I'm not too sure so correct me if I'm wrong).
If you guys want to check out more Avenged Sevenfold, I'd suggest listening to songs from different stages of their discography. I Won't See You Tonight 1&2, A Little Piece of Heaven, God Hates Us, Coming Home and The Stage would show how much they've changed over the years.
Every time I hear this song, it makes me want to go back to when I saw them in 2011. It was such a good show.
Cherie Alexander there must have been a ton of emotions with the recent loss of their drummer.
ChemicalReactions! Oh yeah, definitely. It was their first show with their new drummer at the time, Arin. We even got the live debut of “Fiction”, which is the last and only song The Rev sang for the record, just days before his passing. Probably one of the best and most emotional shows I’ve ever been to.
Also saw them live in the summer of 2011, such an awesome show! Matt blew my effin mind with his scream near the end of God hates us 😂😂
@@patriklundberg9527 my show was in January, so it was real early 2011. But yeah, the performance of God Hates Us was SO good. Easily one of my favorites of the night. Shadows was in top form.
Avenged Sevenfold create their own Genre. It's a great Mixture of all Genre.
2005 City of Evil album went No.30 on Billboard 200 Album chart.
2007 Avenged Self tilted album went No.4 on billboard album chart.
2010 Nightmare Album went No.1.
And 2013 Hail 2 the King album also went No.1
I recommend my favorite Avenged Sevenfold song "Bat Country"
Haven't heard, but reference to Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas I assume? First thing that came to my mind hehe :)
I gotta be honest. The most fun concert I’ve ever been to was an A7X concert. They were supposed to open for Metallica in Philly in 2017 but Syn’s wife went into labor the day before so they weren’t there. They felt bad and offered free tickets for the people who bought tickets to the Metallica concert and they came back to a different venue nearby a few months later and did a full set concert as well as had a local band competition run to have a local band open for them. It was fucking awesome
There is one band that definately shaped this band if you do Fiction and Tonight the World Dies you will see what I mean by this the fact they are a sped up Guns n roses puts them in the punk metal area vs emo. In the beginning they were like Atrey more of a metalcore type of band which is another sub genre of Punk. “Fiction” was the final song written and recorded by original drummer Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan. The song was originally titled “Death” by The Rev.
Sullivan gave the piece to lead singer M. Shadows, and three days later, he was found dead in his apartment. In an autopsy, the cops ruled out foul play. Shadows later went back in to add revisions and the song was completed, featuring both his and Sullivan’s vocals.
During the production of the song “Fiction,” James Owen (The Rev) Sullivan wrote in the song “I know you’ll find your own way when I’m not with you”, it was the last lyrics he ever wrote. He, unfortunately, did die three days later. The album and the song “So Far Away” later went on to be released as a tribute to the amazing drummer
I Can Haz Nachoz? 🐈
The start was pure Metallica. The rest was Alice Cooper.
The Metallica influence is undeniable.
I hear a lot of megadeth influence. Especially on Bat Country and the second half of Buried Alive

Buried Alive, Save me, Welcome to the family.
Their songs rock, you guys should do some more.

My favorite band
Fiction and tonight the world dies are on Nightmare . Yes like all bands several bands influenced them wiki has a list yes matallica megadeath in flames guns and roses are in the list. A surprise when My daughter and I watched that metal show with M Shadows they asked what band would he be in if it wasn't for Avenged sevenfold his answer was Guns n Roses. The thing with the rev it was Suicide the Rev. wrote a song about it Brompton Cocktail which is what killed him. Though coroner report listed natural causes there wasnt enough in his system to say . The only thing they talk about is the vocals he did on Fiction 3 days later he was found dead so I'm not sure if he did any work on Nightmare. [...]The eeriest thing about it is there is a song on the album called "Fiction" (a nickname The Rev gave himself) which started out with the title "Death." And it was the last song The Rev wrote for the album, and when he handed it in, he said, 'That's it, that's the last song for this record.' And then, three days later, he died. Nightmare (2010) (posthumous; some vocals, lyrics, and composing featured; vocals and drums on demo tracks; main part on record was on the song "Fiction")
If you like Floor Jansen (of Nightwish ofcourse) she did a dutch program called: "de beste zangers" which translates to: the best singers. there she covered songs of others in her own style. with as epic show ending a must view in my oppinion: "Floor Jansen en Henk Poort - Phantom of the Opera" (henk is amazing and was acctually the dutch phantom when it came out here). anyway... i love the videos and keep doing what you do and enjoy
THIS is what I’m talking about🤘🏼next time I suggest something old school such as anything off of Waking The Fallen 🤘🏼🔥🎸
Much of the content (vocals included) are from Jimmy and were left in out of respect and kind of in memorium. The rig at the end was his. When he passed, Mike Portnoy came in for a bit to help finish up the album and whatnot, then came Arin Ilejay & finally Brooks Wackerman.
Nightmare is a pretty good one I'd have to say about 90, but Hail to the king is definitely 95+ and should be the next one
Nice one! So far away or A little piece of heaven by A7x next please. Cheers!
Beast and the harlot live at the LBC by avenged sevenfold
Please try one modern band from Australia:
Airbourne - Runnin' Wild
Great. Avenged Sevenfold was on my horizon more as a vivid follower of Mike Portnoy and they sound solid 👍. Surely I’ll give them a try to get to know them better.
Juliette, how were those Nachos?!? Got me almost running to the kitchen 😂👍, nice. As always, 10 points for your video, let’s see what comes next! 😊
( and don’t forget Arcane - Promise Part 2😌)
See u guys 🤘

Should check out Alien Weaponry- Kia Taganda
Check out “Exist” by Avenged. Great song and deep meaning behind the song.
Please react to Bat Country by Avenged Sevenfold. It's like their first mainstream hit song. That song even won 2006 MTV Video music Award for best new Artist.
The recording of the entire album was played by mike portnoy
I clicked real fast for this one :D
Hi guys! I recommend you to give a try to Band Maid. Is a japanese girls hard rock band . I think you will enjoy it. "Dice" and "Thrill" are two of their most reacted songs.
I wish my grass was emo....so it would cut itself 🤦🏽♂️

Was that a plate of nachos & black beans? Now I'm hungry. Thanks juliette!😠
I reccomend Avenged Sevenfold - Save Me. A CRIMINALLY UNDERRATED song. 10ish minutes of a musical masterpiece.. at least in my opinion. Gotta give it a listen sometime!
Second Heartbeat by A7X would be nice.
Its an old one, in which m shadows voice is incredible.
Avenged Sevenfold - Paradigm
Avenged Sevenfold - crossroads
Here’s a great video that memorialized the Rev, So Far Away very good song
Will Juliette be back for any new videos, or has the chemical reactions stopped for good :-(
I don't hate much music, rap however is giving me a very similar feeling.
So this band I don't hate I just would not ever put on one of there records on my own accord.
A band and a song I do put on willingly though is Versailles - Faith and decision.
I finally searched for them. They're Japanese? I expected French with that name. I have an embargo on Japan for the time being after Maximum the Hormone gave us a copyright strike. Myopic view if you ask me to piss off channels who are trying to bring your music to a wider audience but anyways...
@@ChemicalReactions Yeah I heard from other reactors that a few Japanese bands are very copystrike happy.
However I don't think of anyone having issues with Versailles in this area.
Good info to know that Maximum the hormone is one of the copyright happy ones.
Had just heard that BabyMetal was big on it, but does not surprise me though as they seam like a similarly big product.
THE CHIPS CRUNCHING ADDED TO THE PERCUSSION SECTION.
This song is their super mainstream track, same as enter sandman. Not their best imo but it's one of the most popular cause of its straightforward sound and easier listening ability. Listen to something from City of Evil or even The Stage to hear more sophisticated and intricate songs. But beware of m shadows nasal voice in city of evil lmao
My favorite part 0:50 to 0:53
Disinterested teens perfectly portrayed.
Easy slip of the tongue, but I'm so glad Juliette called you out on referring to The Rev as 'it' 😂😂
RIP Jimmy ❤
Great, now I want nachos.
如何にも 西海岸的なトーンでAVENGED SEVENFOLD最高!

1:14 nah nah nah I saw that. You straight got the chip and ate it backwards😂
Drugs, mental health and the Rev was born with an Enlarged Heart that also had a lot to do with his death
Avenged Sevenfold - coming home

how much she's eating 😂🤘
Heaven shal burn-endzeit
Accept-princes of Dawn live
Mono-Children of dark
Hi, something different for your. Floor singing a duet in a Dutch show Beste Zangers. Phantom of the Opera. Listen to it and you get blow away. Floorgasm is coming.
X Japan - art of life
Frantic Amber - Jōshitai
Guys... c'mon, please do Shaman - Fairy Tale (Live). You won't regret it.
Avenged sevenfold seize the day!
Solid song.
Emo?? Oh no lol, that hurt my soul. Great video though. And yeah, the song was like a tribute to The Rev, notice how at the end of the music video it ends with “your fucking nightmare” and then the last shot is of The Rev’s drumset..M Shadows is basically implying that his worst nightmare is The Rev not being alive to play and such.
You guys should react to Lorna Shore "Darkest Spawn", its a bit more heavy but would give an inside of what the extremes would be.
Juliette crushing dem nachos😂😂
React to Angra - Nothing to Say or Shaman - Fary Tale!
Unleash the Archers- Awakening
I'm holding respect for you guys right now. Also whoever doesn't like Avenged Sevenfold, What is wrong with you?!!??
Hi there! You have great reactions on your channel! Did you heard about Band Maid? I really recommend you listen this band. They are five japanese girls. I think this band is the best hard rock band these days. The best song with you should start listen is "Dice" official music video. I don't ask you to react to it, but you really don't have to miss this band.
