@@Kyolover8 I got play Billy Bob for a few birthday parties. My brother Jeff did it quite a few times. That was at a Showbiz in Charlotte,North Carolina in the mid 1980's. Good times.
@@matturban9103 the Billy Bob's I went to was in Conyers GA. They ended up having a skate place next door then knocked the wall out and combined them into Billy Bob's pizza place and skate center or something like that. Then they ended up taking the animatronics out right before they closed about 10 years or more ago
Wow. I think I could actually stand being in this animatronic restaurant... Usually that stuff freaks me all the hell out. (I am 45 years old and the idea of Rockafire Explosion makes me want to bolt for the door). But the chickens were small and had less uncanny valley "human traits" as well as kinda being lax at being particularly chicken like. I like my animatronics fake af. (You know that movie "Hugo?"... Yeah. My husband laughed at me because I had to leave midway. The fear was visceral). Also, squeeze don't pull is great udder advice (udderly great?) for real bovines too, I imagine. Thanks Jacob. This was cute.
I love all of the crazy places you stop at that I would never know existed if it wasn't for you so for that I say thank you please never run out of places to see lol
"Excuse me, waitress? Could I get a side order of fever dreams and childhood PTSD flashbacks to go, please?" "Yes, sir. The next animatronics show should start in 5 minutes."
Hi Jacob I love this i think the Chicken farmhouse cafe is hilarious to go visit thanks for sharing this with us and letting us know what's out there to visit :)
Oh man! Our group was just there! I was so hoping I would have been able to see you! Also would have checked this place out if I had knew we got to eat alongside animatronic chickens!!!
When I was a kid (back in the 80s) I can remember having a birthday party at the Silver Palace, which used to be located in Cherry Hill N.J. They had a band of animationic animals that would play while you ate. Good times!
Wow I love fried chicken 🍗. Frizzles sounds like good downhome cooking. Thankyou for showing us a cool chicken restaurant in Pigeon forge, Tennessee. I like the singing chicks. I love the village people disco songs👍🏻😺
I love your videos I watch have been watching since the beginning, Just wanted to say thank you for making these videos always catching the little things an having fun,If you ever make it to Michigan you should cross the boarder an come to Canada an see something's we have to offer , I am in sarnia an I recommend dockside if here during warm season ....keep it up and thank you
I was wondering if you had ever been here and I finally found your video. I went this year and they have upgraded the chickens, each one has a TV behind it, although it doesn't add much to the show. They were packed when I went, like every other restaurant in the area. They clucked to Sweet Home Alabama for me.
I've been to a lot of strange and wondrous places, have ridden a Soviet sidecar rig in Wester Russia, ridden to Alaska 3 times, all over north America and that is the most clucked up thing I have ever seen in a restaurant...next time I am up there gonna have to check this place out! Weird is good.
Thank you so much for doing the Pigeon Forge videos! I haven't been back there since the mid 80's and it's great to see what they have changed on the strip. One place I remember, which is now gone , was a place called Magic World which had many knock off Disney World type attractions. Thank you again for all your work!
I have eaten breakfast there a few times when we have been to Pigeon Forge. Their breakfast menu is really good. If you go before 2 you can have either their breakfast menu or if it is closer to lunch time you can have either their breakfast or lunch menu. It's a fun place to eat with really good food. The restaurant is part of the Fee Hendrick group that owns The Comedy Barn, Smoky Mountain Opry and the Hatfield and McCoy's Dinner Show. If the fried chicken is the same as what they serve at The Hatfield and McCoy's Dinner Show I know it is really good.
I went to Pigeon Forge a while ago, and was dissapointed that Happy Days was gone. It was in that exact location, so I assume they took it down. It was a diner.
"Follow m-!" Little early on the cut there... 😄 Oh MAN that looks delicious... 😋 Hm... the idea of those missing chickens having been eaten is kinda creepy... 😬 Funny, in a dark humor kind of way, though... 😄 "Man eating chicken." Geez... buried the needle on the bad pun meter... 🙄 A lot of stuff seems broken at this place...
" okay, this looks cool it is... Wait... Doesn't work... Okay well moving right along to this piece, we'll pop our quarter I here and... Doesn't work... Okay, okay... Let's see what happens when you push this button... Nothing. Are you freaking kidding me? Okay, check out this scratch-and-sniff sticker! We scratch it, and... Un-freakin'-believable..."
I have a theory about the missing chickens, I think those were the ones that the celebrities didn't appreciate their names being used....so I don't think they had permission. Just a thought.
Might be the best chicken joint ever Hens down!
The golden age of animatronic restaurants in the 1980's was when Showbiz Pizza Place was open.
For me it was Billy Bob's pizzaria but it had the Rockafire animatronics in there but that was in the 90s

That place looks worth checking out for sure! Great atmosphere for any chicken lover!
What a neat restaurant. And the food even looks good. You take us to such cool places. Thanks . Keep Safe❤Keep Well❤
For CEC Fans who miss the animatronics. This is the place for you
Hi Jacob, haha those chicken were so cool but the names were hilarious. Thank you. x
Whelp. This is obviously a must do next time I ride down that way.
Cute theme for a chicken place.
Man I love animatronics!
You would think Amelia Egghart would be missing.
Blake M BOOOOO! 😂🤣😂🤣

That is my kind of restaurant. Amazing clucking chickens!

Thanks Jacob. This was cute.
I'm with you on the animatronic thing, and these aren't bad, they're pretty cute, a bit too loud for me though.
I love all of the crazy places you stop at that I would never know existed if it wasn't for you so for that I say thank you please never run out of places to see lol
This one is in the bucket
oh my god. this is the best youtube channel ever.
Ooh, I gotta get to that restaurant the next time I'm there! Great video!

Oh Iove places like this; so cute and fun!!!!!!!

This kinda reminds me of Al's Toy Barn from Toy Story...
My son had a blast there a couple weeks ago!
They're no Rock-afire Explosion, I'll tell ya that much right now.
I had a colonoscopy today but your videos always make me smile. Thanks Jacob

If you are not fried as a chicken, you sing the stars of heaven.
The George Strait in the background for like 5 seconds makes this video even better! 👏🏻

Your dinner looked really good.
Good show, good show. I was looking for some good chicken here about a mouth ago, why do all the good chicken dinners have to be in the south? Chirp
