God is literally working through Emy. She touches the youth in a way our elders have a hard time doing. As a 23 yr old who is starting a journey to read the entire bible she is such an inspiration. Like I can still do the cool things I love and still walk in faith. Being a follower of Christ doesn't have to be "bland" and Emy is such an embodiment of that in a way I've never seen before
yesss God has been working through Emy and many other christian’s who have a platform. i’m with you in that i am also working to read the whole bible. it’s good to know there are other young believers who are who want to know and love God.
Literally in tears over this. Emys story with her family, especially her dad is almost exactly like my story. This is so powerful, thank you so much for sharing. ❤️
This one made me cry sm. I relate to Emy sm. Getting mentally & verbally abused by your parents just wrecks you. Thats only something jesus can heal and he did ❤
Emmy, the anointing of the Lord is so on you with teaching His word. Just wow wow wow!!! Praise God for how He took what the enemy meant for evil and turning it for the good of those who love Him, for everyone who is encouraged by God through you. You are so on fire for God and I pray that fire, love and reverence you have continues to glorify Him and encourage your fellow siblings in Christ. So so so much love for you my sister in Christ
Honestly brought tears to my eyes. A specific point when Emy brought up her public speaking abilities and how she always used to speak in competitions and in class and what not honestly moved me. As a public speaker myself I feel something from the Lord encouraging me to speak despite my generally quiet demeanor
Fridays have been become my new favorite because I feel like I’m with my bestie talking about Jesus with you!!!! Praying for you through your journey with our Father 🤍
I relate to Emy, my parents never divorced but I wish they did, I went through a lot of torment, pain family wise alone not even mentioning school on top of that. It was isolating and suffocating. I had to learn and unlearn things about what I went through in my adulthood. I have been on a healing journey for 2 years and I've been on my walk with Christ for a year and some months , I knew of him all my life, just never had a true relationship and knowledge of who God is . God has truly answered prayers. I still live with my dad so it's hard a lot of the time, but, I am older and I can defend myself and not react as much. Through a lot of prayer i've seen a lot of changes within myself and my surroundings. I can't change my dad and it's not my job, but, I can lean on Jesus, prayer and good coping skills. The Lord is at work in my life, through and in me and I am thankful.
Hello,Sis Emy and Ally, this podcast episode was a REAL blessing to me,really took my mind off thinking that knowing who God is meant that I lose my passions, interests(identity) wooow, but its just the opposite know him means my identity becomes refined even more vibrant ❤❤I love yall so much,I thank Abba for you ❤
Please preachhhh!!! Yes on the stereotypes of what humans made not God. God is bigger than anything we could even imagine why would we hold him back when we can’t even fully understand him fully bc he is soooo Great and sooo vast!! Praise God! The devil wants to make it seem like all these things are humans no it is GODSSS!! I love y’all for stating this. Don’t let humans emotions hold down how big our God is!
I’ve been watching Saved but Not soft a lot lately because of finding her through Ally! I love your whole community! Ally, Ashley Hetherington, Ashley Jones, Carew, now Emy! Yall are just amazing!
Such an encouraging episode! God's really using both of you for his glory. I love seeing your love for Christ. So edifying! God bless you both abundantly and keep you.❤
Woahhh I needed to watch this 🥹 the part of surrendering your dreams and using talents/interests for His glory hit SO hard. To wait on Him for this really put every thing into perspective
This is such an incredible powerful episode that God pulled me to listen to with just excitement and joy! This episode is an actual prayer from Jesus thank you for this Emy and Ally

wow, looking at the way she talks about her parents is so beautiful. I will now speak of mine like this. I was going through the same with my parents and them being divorced. It’s hard. I love y’all and this podcast so much. 🤍
Emy God bless you! I love your videos and the way God has used you for His glory, i'm pretty sure you could be a great star on Hollywood but even if that doesn't happen you are already a star in heaven and that's beyond better!!

I needed this. I've had a fear of wearing makeup again because I once idolized it or wearing my favorite styles. But I genuinely loved the creativity of makeup and it's so refreshing to see that you can still have your desires WITH God.
I loved this episode so much! Emmy’s testimony was beautiful and powerful, and I love how Guys both talked about not putting God in a box. It is so true, we cannot put him in a box.
13:17 Felt this sooo much. Through my teenage years I wanted to go to sleepovers and basically do kid stuff (go to the mall, girls day with my friends) but my dad would always be .... What if this happened.... And it would always make me think something bad was going to happen if I went out but then again you can't blame the person but the spirit behind that fear. Now I'm unlearning to always think something bad will happen and it's definitely a process.
No but when you girls started getting into creating and being the salt of this earth…. EXACTLY !!! Lets talk about an on time word. I have been bursting with creativity and taking imitative to purse my passions ALONGSIDE JESUS ! But it was something that hindered me for so long about what the church would say & them saying im of this world. The devil is a liarrrr . I found my girls 😩 thank you Lord.
Love this episode! Thank you Emy for your testimony! Thank you Ally for having her on! Thank you Jesus! As Christians, we must walk with Jesus as his children! ♥️♥️
Thank yooooooouuu for this Emy and Ally!!! Literally gonna have to listen to this again just so I can get all of the little golden nuggets out of it! Keep showing and telling people the good news!! I love y'all!! Have a wonderful night!!;
Little tip Ally, never have the guest back turned to the camera. It’s better to have one of the cameras stationed in the middle to show both faces in an angle if you’re going to sit that way. Other than that, thank you for this episode ❤
Emmy story with her family is just exactly like mine currently actually I have spent a whole month apart from them now I was just done with him manipulation and my daughter being used so far okay it's so nice to see how pleasant the world can be without the toxicity I will say I will go in through phase right now. I love and miss them as I should but it's just their spirit that they live by I will always love them individually but not for what they are doing now
I also had fear instilled deep in me as a kid and teenager so I heavily relate to that! I was so scared of everything after like age 9/10 and started getting horrible anxiety. I never drank or did any drugs until I was 18/19 bc I went to college and was away from my parents, but I was terrified to do anything before then. My parents always had the best intentions but for some reason I just had that fear instilled in me bc of their tone or how they would say things. It’s all very interesting
@44:55 how Emy thanks Holy Spirit for guiding her to Romans🥹 that’s the level of closeness I thrive to have To be so good at discerning His voice and immediately obey with joy 💖
Amen to the point about giving the World too much credit and us needing to take back what God created and reclaiming it!! I can not stand when people say the world is Satan's. No!!! The world belongs to the Children of God!! He gave it to US and that's why Satan hates us! He wants what God gave us and tries to claim it has his!! Nope, get behind us Satan! We are reclaiming ALL that GOD gave HIS CHILDREN!!!
A thought on passion to Aly and Emy. And maybe if Emu could clarify. I’ve heard a couple things about passion in the bible but to be fair haven’t read it front to back so maybe you’ll have knowledge on this. Colossians 3:5 “Therefore consider the members of your earthly body as dead to immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed, which amounts to idolatry”. Curious to know what your thoughts are on this Emy and Aly specifically with passion. I’ve seen it before in the bible talking about passion in a not so light way
I wanna start off by saying that I'm very sorry that Emmy had to go through that with her parents, specially when they started getting triggered by her and then took their anger out on her as a result. This is why having Jesus at the center of your relationship and your marriage is so important. Many people will unfortunately make mistakes and have children with other people who don't have the same values and morals. That's when things like this happen where they eventually split and, in a way, regret having kids with that other person because that child is forever binding them together. In turn, they get angry because of the decisions they made and don't know what to do about it.
What bibles do you guys use? Mine is so thin compared to this! So I didn’t know if there was one you guys recommend with journaling space or notes etc!
i love this🩷 i love emy. i relate to her when she said she’s a first generation curse breaker, i am as well! im doing this alone by the power of the holy spirit 🩷🩷🩷
Sounds like fear helped Ali stay out of trouble. I never touched drugs and was never promiscuous due to fear. Maybe that’s why we put a parachute on before jumping out of a plane. There is good fear (Fear of God) and bad neurotic fear.
21:30 I'm in the air force in cyber security! hehe, its a great career choice but absolutely not for everybody. Sort of like entering the belly of the beast
I get why Emy is defending her parents and it's something we do if we are victims of our parents and so it's hard to say these things out loud but lets be real. Some of these things, especially when her parents punished her after her suicide attempt deserve jail sentencing. Period. You are supposed to provide a safe home by law. The fact that they were mad and punished her after she was an endangerment to herself is wild. They should have immediately gotten help. Anything other than that, and especially what her parents did deserve some kind of governmental punishment.
What a testimony! I’m sorry you went through so much ;( but I’m so happy your pain and suffering brought you to the Lord. Hearing your testimony about what you went through shows me that the Lord will use our trails and suffering for His purpose to bring us closer to Him and not further. Glory to God that you heard Him and followed Him instead of straying and blaming Him.🩷
