the boys poured their hearts and souls into this album, undeniably their great compilation of music. I have listened to Invasion of Your Privacy AT LEAST 1000 times, and each time it hits me that this is real music. As real as it gets.
@@faure.alejandronope! Not at all? Come on man…are you being for real here? Or just being negative to be negative? 🤔🤷🏼♂️ He’s simply just making a statement that he gets what this album was supposed to give us every single time he listens to it. So do I! As he said these boys poured their hearts and souls into this album, and it damn sure shows. Like him I could listen to it 50,000 times and still it’s just as meaningful and mesmerizing as the 1st time I did. That’s what “GREAT MUSIC” is supposed to do to you, and that’s exactly what this album does!!
One of the best ballads along with giving yourself away ........ And you know that most underrated and unappreciated songs of all times.... Love Ratt n Roll til the day I die
This song kicks ass !! Still 1 of my fav bands . I Just heard RATT'S on tour right now playing the OUT OF THE CELLAR album . Start to finish . That means they should play this song !! I Can't wait ..
WARREN is a guitar god, RATT really started rolling in 84 when I was 16 in highschool, still one of my favorite bands of all time, Warren is one of my favorite guitarist of all time, one of the most underated and most talented guitarist of that era and beyond. WARREN is at the top in my humble opinion, solid guitarist. Peace......
Great video for an even greater song!! One issue: Robbin Crosby wrote this song, all the music and played all the guitars and leads/solos. Credit where credit is due to the 'King': Robbinson Lantz Crosby. (rip)
You are very right. The issue is that this was a live version of chain reaction, a reach for the sky album track. By that time, Crosby was past his peak. I did a fair attempt to pick his best shots out but there unfortunately was not a lot of it...
Ok, not dancing undercover, but reach for the sky. Must have been right after they released it, I remember it in early 89, saw them in BHAM, April/may 89
@@Metalcop5150 im sorry, i had never seen this footage, and was thinking it was from a different album, then read your comment and realized different. didnt mean any disrespect. Was /am a big RATT fan, and invasion is my favorite album. liked your info on Robbin. RATT N ROLL forvever!!!
Robbin said one of his fav players was Billy Gibbons, can definitely hear the Rev’s soulful flavor packaged in 80s drama for this solo. Long live the King
I knew of 'You're in love' and 'Lay it down,' but thanks to Eddie Trunk playing 'Never use love,' i had to buy this album and must say i never had heard this. What a song.
Such a badass tune! I use to wear Invasion of your privacy out the best times of my life back in 85! From about 92 and beyond music went to hell quick IMO! Dark ass depressing grunge shit and alternative pop music ugh so you younger generation have fun with that !
Love ❤ you jhon mulkey for loving 😍 comments on this song and album in my opinion invasion is better than cellar. I listen this album regularly and never getting bored
Your broken promises falling out of love, you broke your promises falling out of love when you cross the line you’re one step closer to my heart SEE THE LINE!!!!!
Isnt this song written by robbin if not can someone tell me lol. I know he contributed alot to songs but one song near this album was written mostly or solely by him..
The original performance is one of Chain reaction, in Tokyo. It was on youtube a year ago, haven't looked if it is still around. Indeed one of the very few good Ratt live video', also sound wise ;)
Just heard a 1986 live recording of this song from Japan that Rattmaster86 just recently uploaded. The live recording is way better than this, and this kills.
The fact these guys aren't talked about as much as GNR and MOTLEY always made me sad... their egos and personality’s I think overtook them in the later half of the 80's. Motley got clean and wrote Dr. Feelgood. GNR got more defunct and did LIES.
lyrics? i don't listen to lyrics. i listen to rock and roll. but, this means something to women. wait....... i have said, "do you promiseQ". she said yes.
Such a shame how the 80s get labled as hair metal. It seems dismissive. Truth be told bands were built for arena's. Massive shows, no damn cell phones. 10s of thousands of people together in the moment and great bands to bring the goods!
the boys poured their hearts and souls into this album, undeniably their great compilation of music. I have listened to Invasion of Your Privacy AT LEAST 1000 times, and each time it hits me that this is real music. As real as it gets.
So... 1000 and 50 more times or just 30 more times... or is it a 100? Worth it ?

It's a superb album. I used to listen to it constantly a few months after its release. Mid 80s rock. Probably its high water mark. Cheers from London!
greatest glam metal band of all time
Def Leppard, SKID ROW, n GNR have just asked you to hold their beers.... ;)
Best OVERALL album of 1985. INVASION was their 10/10 MASTERPIECE

Badass! My favorite song on the album.Still listen to it.
I’m with you out of the cellar invasion of privacy . Absolutely love those albums bad ass solos amazing lyrics just all around fucking amazing
Warrens tone was at its best on this album imo
Ratt, from Stockton, CA, brings back all those incredible memories of the 80s,thanks for great Metal and memories

2:43 Robbin Crosby plays the solo on this, not Warren.

Makes sense, becuse he co-wrote the song with Stephen. Robbin would be the lead guitar player in most bands, no doubt.
Great video...well done!
Great work on the live footage and thanks for having the integrity to not put that Official Video BS claim that many do for click bait. Props!
Beautiful song of ratt ! What a great ballad

Ratt is too damn underrated, They are badass and deserve more love, I swear I have heard this from some movie
Great song!
Pearcy's awesome vocals and the background vocals.
The Intro and outro guitar definitely influenced by Robbin Crosby.
I am pretty sure robin wrote and performed the guitar on this sond with warren

Where does that live footage come from? I've never seen pro shot footage from Ratt in the 80s other than that 4 song 1984 performance
The original performance is one of Chain reaction, in Tokyo. It was on youtube a year ago, haven't looked if it is still around. Indeed one of the very few good Ratt live video', also sound wise ;)
