Gammalnorsk Spælsau full wool prelamb - march 2022

This is one of the slowest jobs of the year.
The fleece is very sticky, very heavy and doesn't comb that well.
In the past decades they have been bred mostly for size, and the fleece quality has plummeted.
The great amount of dead and marrow hair they present now is therefore a big challenge when working with them.
Efforts are being made now to improve fleece quality, and hopefully eliminate bad fibers in the future.
Until then I will just have to take it easy and do the best I can.
