  • This last week has seen us being hit with some awful weather, but that never stops the Ginger man from exploring.
At risk of being blown into the Forth, the GM risks it all to explore the sensational town of Leven, a town with more than one diamond down its sleeve.

Leven takes its name from the River Leven, which flows from Loch Leven to the sea at Leven town. The building with the beehive symbols is the old Co-op building (now flats). The beehive was the symbol for the Cooperative Society.

Ginger Man with a Cam! You have done something miraculous here in cataputling Leven to the top of "places to visit" so many thanks for your thorough depiction of our Town! As you commented a few years ago we are extremely pleased to have won the case for the Railway back into Leven and the project should be finalised by June 2024. The comments on various parts of the town are heartwarming especially thru eyes of someone visiting for the first time. Sometimes as residents we don't realise what we have on our doorstep and the footage of places like Letham Glen of which we are very lucky and proud to have is fantastic to hear from an unbiased third party! We are going to have the Glen's Centenary in 2025 so maybe you would like to come back and see what improvements we have made? Thank you so very much for your commentary and honest opinions! ....Ross Bennett ,Committee Member, Levenmouth Rail Campaign (LMRC & Letham Glen Centenary Activist)

And the sunken garden the government or whoever always puts up 4 single fences to stop people from getting in and they do a pretty sloppy job

Thanks for this, we're staying at The Caledonian Hotel in a fortnight's time. We were a little bit trepidatious but after seeing your video we're looking forward to our stay now 👍

Was there just before first lockdown.. still enough to remind me of times in the early 60s as a bairn.. Methil looks a bit sad now but still has its soul..
