There's also a mod that makes actually moving waves in oceans, so if we combine Resurvival with that mod and also add Valkyrian Skies, we get the best marine post-apocalypse modpack.
personally I'd like it more if there was a chance that a big cave section would not be flooded, imagine swiming through the spaghetti caves for the 100th time and then coming across a dry lush cave, pretty magical I'd think
So i can finally make a drowned apocalypse modpack without having it just be empty oceans or only having spefic modded structures to spawn underwater. And tbh i never heard about the datapacks so yeah 😅
I can suggest a really cool mod that also changes the oceans, Minecraft physics mod pro, It also changes even more with rain and thunder, making the waves bigger
bro when i was 7 i had seen a single scene of that movie Ponyo. years i spent remembering the pink girl and always wondered where i had seen her from. now i know. so weird after almost 11 years later. ponyo. huh.
I’d love to see more ship types in the game, especially more modern ironclad ships and the like, I wanna duke it out with my friends on the high seas in battleships!
Watching this reminds me of a webtoon(online comic basically) called Leviathan by Lee Gyuntak which tells the tale of a boy and his sister living in an ocean world forced to fight against sea monsters called leviathans. Knowing this it makes me wonder what if you make a modpack that adds ruined cities into this ocean world, nearly completely submerged the tallest peak of the city is out in the sea for travelers and sea farers to rest upon their travels as to avoid unwanted trouble of sea monsters and oceanic cryptids. Of course to avoid a full on sea apocalyptic look you can add structures that resonate well with the feeling of the sea like boats, glaciers, and broken down cargo ships.
my honest reaction to resurvival: 'holy shit.' i havent't touched the minecraft launcher in quite a bit, but it's been years since i've seen a mod that adds so many fun & challenging mechanics and features
After looking at those cool water mountains, we need to make a Minecraft mountain water biome which would have prehistoric dolphins and sunken cities, it would be mind blowing. Mojang please
One thing ive always wanted to see done is have Better End biomes generate on land on the overworld. You know, the extremely lush, glowing trees and grass etc, and then flood it so its super pretty like subnautica. I might actually be able to do this now.
seeing Ponyo mentioned here was a real surprise, i watched that on my last year of art academy, which is this year so seeing it again gives me good memories of all the years i spend there ok that was completely unnecessary but hey the video is still good!
Well gotta say you got yourself a subscriber, the video was comedic and well laid out. On the point of the mod, I definitely like what this stuff has to offer as I myself felt that it gets rather boring with the oceans. I'd love to make houses and stuff or do underwater mining with drills and diving equipment, maybe even building myself some nice comfy ocean bunkers anchored to the bottom of the sea. Love the cool showing off from this mod, and eager to look at other content of yours as well :3
Thank you so much for the kind words!! I'm glad I come across well :D Pairing this mod with Create gives you its wonderful diving gear, also packaged in Resurvival! would highly recommend it. Hope you enjoy playing with the mod/modpack, alongside future videos! :D
If you guys could add rising water levels that are comparable with water physics mods, that would be even better, there's a bit of a gap in the market for mods that could make rain spawn small levels of water puddles.
If you really love ocean movies you might want to watch Children of the Sea! It's a beautifully animated movie with a very mystical vibe and the ocean scenes are fantastic.
I am a huge fan of ocean related stuff in games, I literally am waiting until someone or yourself adds some sort of really deep part of the ocean like the Mariana Trench type thing. Am I mentally ill? Of course!!
This concept is awesome! as a side effect would it be possible to adapt this idea to bring back cave-only world generation? Like how we used to be able to before the caves n cliffs update. Ever since caves and cliffs released I wanted so badly to make a cave only survival world and was so disappointed when I realized they removed the cave only option
Sadly the mode is coded to add water than actually rise the Y level of water or it isn't coded well to actually tell minecraft that, I know this because every structure from other mods it still spawn at the original water level of 64. I really hoped to add some epic boat like dungeons and other ships.
Mod looks kinda mid, ive expected far more. Would be cool if you could set up your own continents or the size of the oceans, because i feel minecraft oceans looks more like large lakes than actual oceans. Would be cool add some large mariana trenches leading up to bedrock.
I would have to agree I would expect much more from this video The thumb nail and intro makes you think that this would be something much more interesting than a Visual coat then it is
Honestly disappointed, I'd love to see you actually make an ocean mod that fits in vanilla instead of this which just looks pretty ugly IMO and not like something I wanna play.
This mod looks amazing and the flooded town scene in Ponyo was also my favorite scene as a kid!
There's also a mod that makes actually moving waves in oceans, so if we combine Resurvival with that mod and also add Valkyrian Skies, we get the best marine post-apocalypse modpack.
My dude... please make it. You are our hope!
I think your talking about physics mod
We just need one that could put in some good ocean mobs... Definitely Upgrade Aquatic. Maybe combined with Alex's Mobs? Any other ideas?
0:11 actually forgot I made that vhs sprite and was like :0
Dang really? Nice.

john infernal is such a cool guy
Yea.
I can suggest a really cool mod that also changes the oceans, Minecraft physics mod pro, It also changes even more with rain and thunder, making the waves bigger
Very interesting mod! I love more experimental mods like this that completely turn the progression on its head
Ponyo is a truly beautiful movie. No wonder it semi-inspired this mod ^ ^
bro when i was 7 i had seen a single scene of that movie Ponyo. years i spent remembering the pink girl and always wondered where i had seen her from. now i know. so weird after almost 11 years later. ponyo. huh.
huh what a fun mod i bet the dev is a nerd or something
Isn't it always fun to see cameos of LudoCrypt here and there.

I love the fact that you are having as much fun making the video as I am having watching it is
ah, studio gibli inspiring a beautiful ocean masterpiece, what else is new.
my honest reaction to resurvival: 'holy shit.'
i havent't touched the minecraft launcher in quite a bit,
but it's been years since i've seen a mod that adds so many fun & challenging mechanics and features
I appreciate the enthusiasm! Let me know if you try it! :D
just imagine ocean worlds as a merling, perfect
some youtuber has got to play this as enderian origin
Ohhh I'd love that!!
I love ponyo I also loved what you guys did with this mod. I like the ocean wave concept thinking on making a world to play this.
ngl ur so under rated keep up the good work :D
I like your funny words block man

No I loved hearing about this! Thanks for the comment and for enjoying the video!
According to my mom, ponyo was my favorite movie when I was five.
oh hello ludo crypt glad to see you again!
i like the idea of this a lot, when i played the sky version of resurvival even though i raged a bit i still had fun with it!
Planes are in resurvival the industrial revolution is so back 🔥
7:07 that mountain in the back looks like a lion.
True
I love this fella
I loved the: "are you stupid or something? Hihihi"
This is SO good. Looking forward to future content

You gave me a dream and then spit in my face with static water the thumbnail and the lead up is so misleading ☹️
Exactly
Physics mod has moving waves
@@chan.username yeah but doesn't look like a part of Minecraft and it cost money and doesn't do what I would want
@@cooluke29 it doesn’t cost money anymore but idk what you’re wanting, sorry mate ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@chan.username what is shown in the photo and yes it does it does not come with the mod you have to pay to use it
If you guys could add rising water levels that are comparable with water physics mods, that would be even better, there's a bit of a gap in the market for mods that could make rain spawn small levels of water puddles.
The waves are interesting but I think I'll use that one physics mod for waves
3:23 or just put doors, or spam water buckets to create air pockets lol
dude I swear you are going to absolutely explode soon, the quality of these mods is so extensive
Thank you so much!!
you could use physics mod pro to make actual waves
Nekomaster back with another sick mod
If you really love ocean movies you might want to watch Children of the Sea! It's a beautifully animated movie with a very mystical vibe and the ocean scenes are fantastic.
I wonder how the waves would look with physics mod and shaders, waves on mountain waves
2:50 tidal wave jumpscare
imo i dont really like the static waves of water. however they do look a lot better than normal minecraft water
Ive watched ponyo in 2008. I loved it so much.
I am a huge fan of ocean related stuff in games, I literally am waiting until someone or yourself adds some sort of really deep part of the ocean like the Mariana Trench type thing.
Am I mentally ill? Of course!!
This video is currently at 34k views and 3.4k likes, and you have 3.4k subscribers, this is IMMENSELY satisfying for my brain
also good video
Personally I like the mod and as a professional datapacker myself I think it looks really good
I like this. Thank you
3:20 d o o r
Wow, I really like this mod pack, I may add eureka because I like making boats by myself
I always love watching ponyo! Unfortunately I lost the main disc.
I added "Hobby Horsing" to Minecraft :D
You lost me with spice of life.
Why?
this would go so hard when aeronautics comes out
That's what I was thinking! Can't wait for that :D
A submerged modern civilization does seem yeah
This is a very unique and fun mod, I cant wait to try it!
Quick question, is Infernal Expansion discontinued?
Nope! I can't say much more than that for now though >:D
This concept is awesome! as a side effect would it be possible to adapt this idea to bring back cave-only world generation? Like how we used to be able to before the caves n cliffs update. great vid
I wonder what would happen if the water physics mod and this was installed at the same time
8:00 what was the spider burning animation there? :0000
It's custom-made by me! :D
@@InfernalStudiosMC and where could I get my grubby lil hands on whatever mod is doing that?,
It's my own lil resource pack! Exclusive to Resurvival >:D @@Pyracyntrix
that wave is tidal
i love ur sinister laugh >:3
I'm evil >:)
@@InfernalStudiosMC we're evil >:33
how do I open the config menu as in 4:25 ?
how do i raise the water level
how do you adjust the hight of the oceans / noise, ive looked on the offital mod page but cant figure out please tell me if you can
Add Configured to your game for an in-game config!
@@InfernalStudiosMC thanks
The gojo lol
how do I open the ocean world configured menu ?
You download the Configured mod and click on the Ocean World in the mod menu
A lull in the sea is a great anime recommended.
take the amplified and the reversal
Can the Strider scale the lava waves?
Not very well unfortunately :'D Maybe something to amend in a future update!
why dont mojang readd the special worldtypes? just like in alpha 1.0.4-1.1.2 , theres a 20% chance of getting a winter world
pretty neat

Correct. Use a datapack to change the actual ocean's Y level, but then lose all structures like villages and the like below it ;P Tradeoffs.
How do I use the mod? Ive tried looking in so many different places and I cant figure out how to change anything
oceanworlds-common.toml in the config folder!
Oh no, I didn't make a comment?! Drown me in the WaVy OcEaNs(?)!!! (Love this, flood more worlds)
0:24 What movie is this??
Hi, i downloaded the mod, but the option to edit the config isn't showing up. Help plz
should me oceanworlds-common.toml in your configs folder!
what happened with resurvival displaced, i cant seem to find it
It isn't updated anymore, but you can still download it if you scroll back in the downloads page! It's Resurvival.D.(no)
you should get a partnership with microsoft and try to make it a bedrock addon
Finally. Not a minecraft video showing off distant horizons for once. Refreshing!! I love this
Thanks so much! :D
created my own modpack with ocean worlds, but i think all the mods i have kinda broke this mod lol
Oh? How?
@@InfernalStudiosMC well for some reason I cant place any blocks in the water.
I figured it out, thanks for this mod!
5:47 creepy
ludocrypt is so based
How would I increase the depths of oceans without flooding the entire world? Currently I feel that all the Minecraft oceans are really shallow...
hey for what version is this mod for?
1.19 and 1.20!
Finally
Subnautica minecraft
The waves are supposed to move
All caves now being underwater is no fun
LETS GOOOOO
1:34 Gerg?
Don't tell him about waves from physics mod
omw to make Zelda: Wind Waker in Minecraft
Honestly, if you made a modpack in that style, I'd looove to see that :D
Mod looks kinda mid, ive expected far more. Would be cool if you could set up your own continents or the size of the oceans, because i feel minecraft oceans looks more like large lakes than actual oceans. Would be cool add some large mariana trenches leading up to bedrock.
Raising the sea height inherently makes the world more continental!

Honestly disappointed, I'd love to see you actually make an ocean mod that fits in vanilla instead of this which just looks pretty ugly IMO and not like something I wanna play.
love it, but obligatory 1.20.1 please comment
